Bought my 47 SD in 1962 for $300.00. I am the 2 nd owner and had original title for many years, but that’s another story. The car was in original condition and had 32,000 mi on it. Wife of 59 years and I went on our honeymoon in this car and my sons in their 50’s grew up with “The Ford” in their lives. I could go on and on with the stories. The Ford is still in the garage out back.
Thanks a lot for the ride!!!! Chevrolet fleetmaster and Impala were on road until 1999-00 in India, but after 2000, Chevy in decline. The last time I travelled in fleetmaster was back in 1998 and today in your video.
Reminds me of my old neighbors old cars. Nothing is better than a summer afternoon cruise down mainstreet in a '32 Ford Model A with a old flat-head V8. it was red, with the rumble seat instead of a truck. I can still hear the sound. Great car, by the way!
I believe this was the final body style Ford would see roll of the assembly line before his death that year. Sure did one hell of a good job on his final designs that’s for damn sure
Beautiful restoration and able to keep up with other traffic at moderate speeds. Did the Super Deluxe come with that chrome plated instrument panel or was this done as a slight modification while being restored?

Without overdrive, no it likes to run about 50mph, the dash was part of the Super Deluxe, correct for it. Thanks so much for following Samspace81
