Your way of organizing concepts and interpretations is not only clear but also accurate and enlightening. As to your comment on Blake`s Song The Lamb, “(from Songs of Innocence) displays the condition of Nature in the Garden of Eden, before the Fall”, I was wondering whether Blake`s ideas of this poem refers to the paradise before or after the Fall. Your answer would shed light on my understanding since I`ve never read this interpretation before. In terms of the lyrical I questioning God´s creation, it seems to me that he questions the lamb (rhetorically) and man´s creation in the earth. Therefore, the lamb and the child from this song are present in the worldly terrain after Jesus Christ presence. Regards from Argentina. As far as your very interesting question is concerned, I can tell that critics have always considered the idyllic environment of "The Lamb" as an Eden before the Fall. At the same time, you are perfectly right in telling that the metaphors of the poem are definitely connected to Jesus. I would find a point of contact between these two apparently juxtaposed interpretations in saying that Blake has always emphasized how his existential metaphors are never subsequent to one another. As well as The Tyger (corruption of adulthood) isn't the degeneration of the Lamb (innocence and purity of childhood) but the two sides of the same coin, which is God's creation, also the idea of Eden shouldn't be considered in a chronological order (like before or after the Fall) because the two phases coexist and still exist in the symbol of a child or Jesus. I hope I could explain what I meant but please, in case I wasn't clear enough, be sure to write again and I'll try to develop the topic. I must confess that I am utterly confused about Blake, Coleridge and Wordsworth`s notions on these matters.
