Beautiful lady with a really cute dog. Plastic wrap on the counter was a great idea. Simplifies clean up. These look great. I sometimes make an orange cranberry scone reconstituting craisins in orange juice with orange zest in the dry ingredients and perhaps orange extract or a bit of juice in the wet ingredients. Comes out great.

I'm not a scone lover, buy my wife loves Starbucks scones. I won't shop there given their stance on Veterans, but my wife wanted scones so I got to baking. She liked them. She said the texture was perfect and loved the blueberries and walnuts. Her only complaint was, they were not very sweet--even with the sugar I put on top. Next time, I'll add a 1/3 of a cup of sugar vice the 2 tablespoons. I know to scone purists, that makes these pastries not scones, but a happy wife is a happy life.

Great tip on the sugar, I have some kind of sugar I ordered for baking, it shines some, and I used it on my scones, but I made the mistake of spraying my pan too much and putting the sugar on while the scones were in the pan, got the sugar on the cookie sheet with the spray, and wow, the smoke detector never stopped going off, I'm fanning and trying not to burn the scone's, but my fault, now I make sure I put the sugar on before I put them on the cookie sheet, and I use parchment paper now. all in all I love your recipe, and I must say you are a very beautiful person and thank's for the recipe. Careful using powdered sugar as it has cornstarch and may make your scones doughy. Also, don't handle the dough too much. If the dough becomes warm your scones will not be flaky. Pesticides are only removed with hot water.

If you grease the sheet pan with butter or margerine , then a light dusitng of flour over sheet pan shake of the excess , you will find your scones will not stick , also use ordinary milk on top of scone but do not let it run down the sides , its said the the mik running down the side inhibits the raise the scone .. i never put sugar op of my scones , its a personal choice . I will try your recipe with blueberrys and pecans , it looks delicious.
( i keep wŕapping paper of butter in my freezer and use it when greasing a sheet pan , or cake tin, what ever needs greasing , usually have to get an extra scrape of butter on it, then light dusting of flour over butter , shake it around to cover butter then shake off excess.
After greasing the sheet pan , put butter paper in the bin . I find butter or margarine works better than oil . HAPPY BAKING .

This recipe is fate. Started off thinking hmm..why preheat the oven when you put the dough in the freezer? I was wrong totally forget to turn it on when i pulled it out and started cutting. Was thinking i hope i have walnuts but found pieces of pecans, Amazing! Then added everything and only found raw sugar cubes i got in a gift basket. ×gasp× is that turbanato (never heard of it sp?) sugar? It is! Added some vanilla and cut it into 9 then 18 to spread the tastyness. I have parchment paper! Cut on cook time but it came out wonderful! Thank you for the insightful recipe, it was meant to be.

I like the scones. I follow your video when I make the scones and not your recipe because your recipe calls for two eggs. It just confuses me but I have not used 2 eggs. Can you correct that on your written recipe. Or is it better with two eggs? I think I’ll add a splash of vanilla this morning as one review suggested.

You are one beautiful young lady!! I do wish you had used your video more on what you were making or adding as I learn more from watching what people are doing than saying. Your scones looked great and full of blueberries! Good luck in your future. Smiling...

you are not only beautiful but you also have baking skills. people who give you negative comments are envious or jealous of your beauty so better not to mind them at all. keep posting other videos pls. thanks.

Negative comments were about her constantly touching her hair and face and back into the mixture not about the recipe ... her hygiene was awful ... wonder if she touches her dog then back into cooking.

Blueberry scones. I learned to make those in eighth grade in Boston Public Schools. Now that I have Clotted cream , TH-cam has created a monster. Love the blueberries
