Say what you like about RGIII (go ahead... we'll wait), but the 2012 season really was special for Redskins fans. A rare (sigh) 10-win campaign, a 7-game winning streak to end the year with some signature victories, a rare NFC East title. How often to DC football fans have that much fun anymore?
The 2012 Redskins notched some memorable wins, none more special than this, the Redskins' first (and only, before losing their beloved moniker) Thanksgiving Day victory. The underdog 'Skins roared out to a 28-3 lead and held off a respectable comeback effort from Tony Romo and the Cowboys for the historic win. This was the second of the Redskins season-ending seven straight victories, but really it was this game that kicked off Washington's push for the 2012 NFC East crown.
So kick-back and enjoy this highlight filled feast and remember - calories don't count when the Redskins win.
No VHS conversion on this one, but even so there was room for a little polish to upscale this 720p source material to a 1080p shine.
