I was a child when my dad bought an alfa romeo gt 3,2 V6. One of the best sounding six, only worse than the V6 Ferrari of the Lancia Stratos..

Does anyone know if this is the actual sound of the engine, or it's aftermarket exhaust, or maybe stock(factory)exhaust?
If this is the engine sound, it's amazing!

      EVERGET BMW S50B32*
That's the one that served as a basis for the S70/2 found in the McLaren F1, and also the one that came in the M3 E36 EVO, known to be a supercar-kicking beast, with its insane torque (350nm for a 3.0 NA... In 1996...), and post 100hp/L specific power. The beginning of an awesome world of wonderful engine, being the first engine with double VANOS...

***** I'm speaking from personal experience, & I know several people who can also attest to that from personal experience also. I'm good friends with an Alfa specialist who is the first to admit this. Let's just say he's never short of work lol. I love my cars & consider myself a 'petrolhead', & I do love Alfas. That doesn't mean however that I'm willing to delude myself into claiming how perfect they are when they simply aren't. As beautifully designed as they are, the build quality is abysmal. I've seen Alfa's straight off the line where the panels don't even line up. The worse I've seen was one panel rubbing against another when opened! The electrics are truly awful too it can't be denied. My lights used to come on by themselves, as did my windscreen wipers & stereo, all without the keys even being in the ignition. I have seriously lost count with the amount of issues I've had with the Alfa's I've owned. I've now finally (yet reluctantly) given up on them & sadly don't think i'll buy another. I've now gone German & so far (touching wood.....), I've had no problems whatsoever. The quality is just far superior, which is truly a shame as far as I'm concerned. All I wanted was a trouble free Alfa I could enjoy :(

playd76 Let's say it the built quality and electrics has not been always as linear as the germans but things have actually changed over the last years... if you take the 166 for ex. the built quality was nearly as good as german apart from dodgy turn signal lever that wouldnt reset with the steering turning if the owner wasnt really careful with it and the window buttons that need "feeling" to operate but all in all a car that never left me down and drove it many miles through half of europe while a german left me on the side of the road because of a fault in the chain tensioner... I think the quality is a little "unequally" distributed on Alfas as it is focused on Engine, Suspension, Brakes, weight distribution... in this relation the germans really cant keep up the price segment. Then again sounds like you've been really unlucky... And bad luck happens to all my brother in law just blew the engine of his "perfect" Toyota Landcruiser... but if that would have happened to an Alfa it would be the biggest crap in the world... i think they really dont deserve all the shit people throw at them. Or maybe i'm just a very lucky Alfista?!
