So even if he asked her to present he wasn't looking for MTV to put it everywhere and use it a marketing ploy and so criticized them for using that for ratings.

Like everyone else, I'm here after the Rolling Stone interview. It is quite obvious that towards the end Taylor had had enough. The body language says it all. She stopped clapping and to be honest does not look impressed. Seems the only one looking for ratings was Kanye which is why he desperately wanted Taylor to present him with the award

After seeing the clip and understanding it, I do believe that Taylor had a misunderstanding at the moment - but, it doesn't mean that she is lying. She genuinely thought Kanye is bashing her and that is clear in the way she reacts. Otherwise, why would she all of a sudden stop clapping?
Also, it is not her fault that she misunderstood him... The way he had behaved in the past probably made her think that he's still doing the same. And speaking of her interview, she has Infact said that she reconsiled after this incident. She did not make an issue, she did not play the victim. She did not even talk about it at that time. It was the series of events that happened afterwards which made her sure that Kanye is not a person she wants to be friends with and all the little things came together to make her realise this.
