@@royc4694 Raising the gun in the air is a way to signal that you are a 'baboon' (fellow Skil4ltu viewer) and to leave each-other alone until you're the last ones left. Skil is upset that he didn't notice until it was too late and killed the fellow 'baboon'.

Something to highlight about the STB-1 that makes it stand out is the "effective dpm" is amazing. This is nothing like a K-91 that 'might' occasionally flex its dpm- the STB-1 will absolutely use the dpm because it has just enough turret armor to bounce shells while peaking, and just the right mobility to permanently keep peaking. In my opinion this is an epic medium tank and the medium equivalent of S. Conq, absolutely wild machine this is in the right hands.

And yes it's a very good medium tank. The 50/51 is possibly the only better tier 10 tech tree medium.
@@TehButterflyEffect youre absolutely trolling with this one. the tvp is completely outdated, its one of the worst t10 meds especially if youre not a god at the game. also leo, cent and arguably cs are better than the stb
@@benschwarz2477 50/51 has amazing mobility and nothing else at tier 10 puts out 1800dmg in 4 seconds.
The Cent is trash. The Leo is a worse STB-1.

Still my favourite medium! I like the UDES too but I enjoy the STB more..
I think the UDES is much better hull down but man is it fun to permatrack people from safety.
I love the stb-1. Use turbo, rammer and stabs all bond. Shoot mostly AP and only HEAT on 279e and german heavies. It’s a beautiful tank when you get used to the hydraulic magic. If you have side shots I recomend using third person on ridge lines so to make your hydraulics not be as janky.

Lately, its either a steamroll or a 10/15min fight to the last man. The matchmaker needs an update to look at battles played and match accordingly, with a tiny bit of leeway with 2 arties max.
This is my one of my favorite meds, top 2 with Leo1. when the gun id not too derpy. I use mainly bond stab, bond improve aiming and bond vents or bond turbo. If you can be close and hull down this tank shreds.
It's way better than the Leo. It has better power to weight ratio, better armor and the gun hits way more shots than the Leo does. The only advantage the Leo has is higher top speed, and perhaps the HESH shells.

This was my first tier ten back when it released. Only tank that I've got 10k+ damage and 15k combined in.
Gun is too derpy, STB has been replaced by Action X pretty much as far as I can see.
Derpy? Not at all. It's a laser cannon. More accurate than Leo (not on paper, but in game it's way better).

I had to put IAD on it to hit decently. So no, it absolutely is not.
AX can't hold a candle DPM wise.

the thing with STB is and why i don't like to play it, is the little ammo it has, with that insane awsome dpm i just waste so much on blindshots and before i know it, i feel like i have to be in conservation mode wich annoys me

It's a map control tank,you can get into a hill and hold 3 tanks alone by dpm alone..it's a gold shell sinkhole tank..but it's a good tank and gun hadling in close range is good that you can snap ebrs in full moveing speed

Sums up Maus as well. No amount of angling is going to help with HEAT spam.
@@inciacci549 Depends very much on the HEAT round. You can angle against 60TP or BZ75 HEAT pretty well to name just 2 examples and the angling also reduces the chance of the 340 HEAT rounds to go in. Angling is very important to master in the Maus.
Not a fan of the STB at all. Gun feels unreliable and you aren't that safe hull down. UDES is similar but better gun, more alpha, better turret and can also sidescrape - more flexible overall - love it.
Only played 50-ish games with it and i keep getting absolutely shitty matchups and maps with it, so haven't managed much with it.
But a few of those matches have already been annoyingly close to becoming gloriously good, so yeah, it has potential.
But all it takes is one enemy getting a good side angle against it or getting caught away from hulldown and you can be wiped out horribly fast.
If you're not 100% awake and up to speed, don't play it. It's a perfect tank for an 8 year old on a sugarhigh.
For casual players, only if it suits your playstyle.
Reacently got 6.5k dmg and 10kills with stb-1 its very good

Because 99% of all tanks in the game are automatically better when loading full gold.

This tank is cursed for me. I have 54% WR, but this tank along udes and cs-63, whenever I pass 44% WR, WG just says: no sir 44 is what you get. I do want to love this tank but with the amount baboons WG assings me with this tank, I preffer to stick to tanks where I can reliably have 50%+ WR
yeah that's been my experience with the tvp line. like there's nothing especially bad with the line, it's just that mm likes to put me on teams that are 70% dead within 3 minutes.
I am so glad it isnt just me that's noticed this happening on certain tanks.

I was able to blueprint my way from tier 1 to tier 8 for this tank. But I don't have enough german/japanese blueprints to make tier 9 or tier 10. Anyone know how I can focus on getting german/japanese blueprints before this special is over (i.e. within 2 weeks)? Am I at the mercy of "random blueprints"??

The STB, the definition of "unreliable", the killer of mood.
The UDES 15/16 is just way better. It's not much slower but it's way more reliable.
Hard disagree. If anything, udes is less reliable in every way. STB has better gun handling, monster dpm, 14 degrees depression, and better mobility. You can bully heavies and other meds while peeking from abnormal angles. Plus you can stay exposed less than udes since the better gun handling + higher pen means you can afford to snap more.
I like the stb but it's really unreliable. Sometimes the gun will hit kran cupolas easily and sometimes it will miss an e100 lower plate. Same with the turret armour. Sometimes you bounce everything and sometimes you get snapped and penned with AP.
It's not a German tank where it's 50/50 hit or miss no matter if you aim or not. You have to let it aim all the way before you fire. It's very accurate.

I never really made this tank work. Great gun depression, good dpm but mediocre armor and horrible, infuriating gun. I would take centurion ax over stb anyday.
