I love the tips you shared. I have curly hair but often it comes out with a couple of curls and a ton of frizz, even when I air dry it. Your curls turned out so well in such a short time, I'm definitely checking out your air cream ❤
When I went gray my hair turned curly. I didn’t know how to style. I literally found your product when people at my Sephora didn’t know what I was asking for. It’s literally my favorite hair product. Thank you for this tutorial.
The same thing happened to me when I started my midlife hormone change. I’m thankful for all the great resources on TH-cam, like this one. Nothing like becoming a curly girl in your mid 40s. 😂
Soooooo right about it taking time to figure out how to style one's own curls consistently. How to make sure all my hairs "have a home", or, as I say, make them stick together so they form curls in chunks, is a delicate business.
I use a spray bottle to dampen my curls and re-scrunchie my curls. I have found the spray bottle from Pattern by Tracy Ellis Ross works really well as it is a continuous and fine mist spray (I got mine on the last Sephora sale). I also add a bit of hair oil after it has dried.
Please do curls on a person like me. 2.5 inch post menopausal short layered baby fine wavy high lighted hair. Loved air dry crème when my hair was longer…straight, wavy, or curled. But need more hold now for short curls. 😅
My hair has been changing as I have been getting older, from being straight all my life to now being wavy and even curly in the back. It's been a process learning how to properly style my hair and I really appreciate the tips!
ahhhhh thank you soo much!!!! I just followed the steps with the video and ive genuinely never seen my curls/waves this good!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩❤️❤️❤️ ahh thank you!
Thank you Jonathan! I'd been struggling with lack of definition in my waves and thanks to this tutorial I realised I was definitely not using enough product 😅 I was scared it'd make my hair feel weighed down or greasy but that's not the case :)
I have wavy hair but I can get more curl if I really spend time putting product in and scrunching it. Hairdressers blow it out and flat iron it, but never ask if that’s how I’d like it styled.
Thank you so much for this! I struggle with my wavy hair because I have so much hair and I didn’t know a lot of the things you shared today. I am definitely going to give your tips a try and I will try to get the cream during the holidays. I’ve also heard about that wives tale about straight hair, it made me keep my hair straight for 30 years.
I am now back to 100% curly at 42 years old and I love it so much, as I never had before. I do not refresh so I do focus on my washdays. Gel & Diffuser make such a difference! My hair became a hobbie the moment I started to really embrace and learn how to style it.
Thank you so very much for this tutorial! I am new to trying to style my natural wavy hair and am looking for just simple to start, and this is fantastic. I already have your air dry cream, so I can't wait to try this! You are the best - I just love your personality 😊💕
Great video. I love your air dry cream (all your hair products actually), but this has really taught me a lot. Plan to put it into practice in the morning.
Ahhh! Ive been using your air dry cream (and loving it!) and wondering if it was useful with a dryer. My hair is SUPER thick and dries slow, so leaving it to airdry before work isn't that practical. Thank you for this, and love seeing your non-makeup look, so cute!!
The air-dry cream is awesome for men's hair. It gives me something to style my hair with that's natural looking with great texture without a nasty pomade or waxy feeling, curls or not!
My hair is straight/wavy and I really really love curly hair, especially the "wet look" Any tips for how us straight hair girls can get the curly look? ❤
Girrrrrrrrrrrrl, I looked up how to style curls for an interview a couple years ago and there were current (to the time) articles talking about how curls are "unprofessional" and how you should 100% straighten hair for interviews and first days. Written by HR people! Most said that unless the person was overqualified, they wouldn't hire someone with curly hair because it gave the impression of being immature. No matter how good the curls looked. I was stunned. Related to the air dry cream, my hair is super fine, would I be able to use it?
10:55 - 11:10 made me laugh cause when ive occasionally gone out with wet curly hair is when ive had men come up and hit on me, makes me wonder what i gotta do with my hair so the women hit on me instead bc I'm a lesbian 😂 As for the rest of your video definitely gonna try your method out and practice it cause id prefer to wear my hair like this. So glad you're back Queen we missed you❤
Great tutorial! So I have three questions that I really hope can be answered somehow: 1) How do you maintain them or stop your hair from trauma while sleeping so it doesn't ruin the curls? 2) What do you do on day 2 and 3 so you don't look like you've not brushed your hair? 3) Is it more effective when you use the JVN hair serum followed by the air dry cream? I did the curly thing on Sunday, was OK the first day but need to adjust according to your instructions. However, I ran my fingers through my hair to try to keep the curls but it looked like I just rolled out of bed😅 I only wash my hair once a week, so I'd like to know how it can keep looking tidy for a bit longer. I have wavy curly hair with layers in a V cut and the longest point is basically at the top of my butt while the short point is middle of the rib cage length.
Oooh I’ve not tried this product and I’m so pleased I have this on the way as part of a Space NK haircare edit. My hair is very curly, and thank god for that since it’s so fine that I would look kinda bald if it was straight 😂
It looks so great on you! Does using a blow dryer actually help keep the frizz down? I have tried to let mine just air dry with product in it if I have enough time, and I get FRIZZ. I would have thought it would be the other way around. 🤷♀️
Thank you, Jonathan. My hair is more chin length. I'm going to try your techniques! After chemo, my hair is now curly. How do you hold the curl after you are done? Does anyone know?
I want to say that I love your mom. She is hilarious about that Joke you did. By the end of this video you forgot to mention Mariah Carey from the beginning I thought you were giving us Wednesday Adams.
I have curly hair and having hard time find right one products for my curly wish have special kind curly keep volume sometime not volumes. Look alike wave my hair natural curly.. which best products? Keep smell good and stay long day curly hair.
What's a good stylish clip for a 40 year old, my hair is really thick and it gives me a headache when I pull it out sometimes I just want to clip it back, but I don't want to feel like a 5-year-old😁🥰
My hair is really wavy at the back but almost straight at the front which is annoying as incant figure out why. I'm also not keeping it wet enough as I hate my hair dripping wet so I will have to keep trying
I want to say that I love your mom. She is hilarious about that Joke you did. By the end of this video you forgot to mention Mariah Carey from the beginning I thought you were giving us Wednesday Adams.

Air dry cream is my best curly product EVER!!!! ⭐️

I don't have curly hair but I always love the JVN beauty positivity talks
I do still love air dry cream on straight hair - use a lil pea size on wet hair for gorgeous lightweight movement, shine, texture and no frizz 👯♀️🫶
Thanks so much from Australia 🇦🇺
Would love to know how to to refresh the curls the next day please❤

Your air dry cream smells soo good! Doesn’t leave my hair crunchy or greasy. My hair is straight but still use it 😅
I ❤ JvN products
It made my scalp stop “acting up”
It’s my bday gift I ask for in bulk every end of the year 12/17🎉
My hair has been changing as I have been getting older, from being straight all my life to now being wavy and even curly in the back. It's been a process learning how to properly style my hair and I really appreciate the tips!
It’s your hormones… makes it curly! It’s crazy after having straight hair your entire life!
My hair is exactly like yours! Same curl, same color, same length, same style!...
I'll have to try JVN Air Dry Cream!!
Ilysm 💜
I’m so happy you’re back on my feed you beautiful soul ❤
ahhhhh thank you soo much!!!!
I did this a it worked beautifully. For reference, my hair is fine and shoulder length. Every product is amazing. It only matters how you use it. ❤
Thank you for this, I have curly hair that doesn't like to curl but definitely isn't straight either, I'm hoping some of this will help.
Jonathan, I'm soooo happy you're back! You're literally my mental support person. Kiss kiss kiss
Thank you for this tutorial. It works!!! Happy to see you back on YT, JVN 😁
I’m a huge fan of JVN Hair. You are bringing me so much joy when I watch you doing your hair and your staffs hair.
This is the exact routine I've been doing forever at this point ❤
I have wavy hair but I can get more curl if I really spend time putting product in and scrunching it. Hairdressers blow it out and flat iron it, but never ask if that’s how I’d like it styled.
OMG love the look
Good tips, thank you! I also love to use the Air Dry Cream when I leave my hair curly (but I just air dry 😅)
I do that too sometimes 🥰
Love easy peasy hair styling. Thanks Jonathan!

Yes it would also work with a dryer, I find a diffuser just locks in the curls a lot better regardless of product. ❤️
I absolutely love this tutorial and you are so freaking cute. Thank you for coming back to TH-cam❤
Airdry cream is THE BEST! My waves love it, and I LOVE you
They are giving everything gorgeous🙌🙌🙌🩷🧡💛💚🩵💜
The air-dry cream is awesome for men's hair. It gives me something to style my hair with that's natural looking with great texture without a nasty pomade or waxy feeling, curls or not!
You're so gorgeous. you do not need make up. Plus I love seeing your freckles. they cute.
Love you’re products! How would you handle a very itchy scalp that gets oily very easily

Yayyy this is the video I asked for !!! ❤️❤️❤️

so helpful!!
@JVN - thank you for this video! Wondering if there are any endocrine disruptors / chemicals in this air dry product?
Can’t wait to try this on my mom’s hair! She’s been hiding her beautiful curls for years!
Love 10:50 and on. Thank you for naming it !
Great to see you
Thank you, Jonathan. My hair is more chin length. I'm going to try your techniques! After chemo, my hair is now curly.
How do you hold the curl after you are done? Does anyone know?
Great curls and love the AIR CRY CREAM, but have difficulty on second day hair...slept on, flat and a mess.
Exactly, I basically put on some makeup in fall, and in winter, it's too hot. Otherwise😘🥰
I want to say that I love your mom. She is hilarious about that Joke you did. By the end of this video you forgot to mention Mariah Carey from the beginning I thought you were giving us Wednesday Adams.
Thank you 😊
If you want to see an amazing man reaction to curly hair, there’s a clip from love island France which is gorgeous!
That tube would last me maybe two or three uses. Would love a bigger vessel!
Fashions change, perms came in 70s & saved me $$$, even the men were having curly perms in UK.
Im going to git the air dry cream 😊
Curly girl here - I get a lot of frizz after using a diffuser. What can u do post diffusing if your crown is full of fuzzy frizz?
PS what a beauty!
Do you use conditioner before the air cream?
As someone with curly hair, how do you detangle your hair when it’s dry? I usually brush it out and ruin my curls. 😢
This is giving Mariah Carey “Emotions” music video…. 😍
Sold! I just ordered some because I agree with everything you're saying. 😂😘
Just don’t trust EVERYTHING I say
Subbed at “I don’t need to wear makeup every goddamn day” 😂
I have curly hair and having hard time find right one products for my curly wish have special kind curly keep volume sometime not volumes. Look alike wave my hair natural curly.. which best products? Keep smell good and stay long day curly hair.
What's a good stylish clip for a 40 year old, my hair is really thick and it gives me a headache when I pull it out sometimes I just want to clip it back, but I don't want to feel like a 5-year-old😁🥰
That is what I call challenge acceptance. You are giving me Wednesday Adams.
My hair is really wavy at the back but almost straight at the front which is annoying as incant figure out why. I'm also not keeping it wet enough as I hate my hair dripping wet so I will have to keep trying
Yes try keeping it wet when styling and adding product, and applying product throughout, and some parts will need more.
beautiful
Does this technique for girls who have natural curly hair? Or straight hair use this technique?
I do still love air dry cream on straight hair - use a lil pea size on wet hair for gorgeous lightweight movement, shine, and no frizz 👯♀️🫶
What it the product u use?...where do u buy it?
🚫makeup = freckles = ♥️

@@jvn THANK YOU SO MUCH 😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
what about wavy hair that struggles with getting greasy. I don't know what to do.
Could you please make a video about porosity? I feel like the internet can’t really decide what to do about porosity and what is actually facts 😢
I wish I could have full fluffy curls 😭 my hair is so annoyingly straight
I'm so jelly of the ladies with big bouncy curls
I’m wavy and when I brush wet, my waves air dry so limp.
Idk this is more a wavy technique than “curly”
You're beautiful ❤
You are perfect and fucking stunning without make-up, just fyi. ❤
Hon, us short hair curly girlies can't put our weird curls into a bun or pony. We've got to just go with it or wet and restyle 😥
How's Jared? Did he get too famous for the YT channel? 😂
Good morning, Jonathan 🩷🧡💛💚🩵💜
Good morning Amanda!!
@jvn 😁🙌 you made my morning. I'm always cross patch, but I love seeing you
I want to say that I love your mom. She is hilarious about that Joke you did. By the end of this video you forgot to mention Mariah Carey from the beginning I thought you were giving us Wednesday Adams.
