215 shillings entrance fee for Kenyans, $22 or 3,575 shillings for foreigners. Come on guys we don't mind paying double or triple the price you pay, but you're asking more than 16 x the local price. That's ridiculous. Not all foreign tourists are rich and some of us are much less wealthy than rich middle class Kenyans.

Actually $22 is the cheapest price to visit a park. Most places charge double that in other countries. The thing is the price was subsidised for Kenyans so that they promote local tourism because most Kenyans are in the lower middle class, and there are also schools and colleges.. so it made sense to reduce the price rate for local Kenyans so that the parks are not empty waiting for tourists.. and this made made Kenyans start visiting parks. I hope this answers your questions
