something i noticed... Both RUDY and MARSHALL (in ep.5) divert the investigators attention by bringing up COMEDY. Rudy (ep. 8) offers to do a comedy version of the bit from a Few Good Men, which immediately makes everyone wave him off and start to not take him seriously as a suspect. Marshall (in ep. 5) gets a similar reaction when he brings up his comedy set as a feasible alibi, because he knows nobody wants to see it. I think this is one of the many signs that Marshall and Rudy are working together, and also will tie into the real world commentary of not taking writers/stunt people as seriously as other creatives in the film industry. (Rudy also lied about Helga being his girlfriend, cos i think he and Rudy ARE together in a relationship and hence worked together)
Interesting theory! I also just realized Rudy is really jacked so maybe he was involved as a stunt person at some point since he's an aspiring actor too, that could be our connection between the westies and this hollywood storyline!
I love your OMITB breakdowns so any show that has some kind of murder mystery element would be awesome but I’m honestly looking forward to any shows you’ll be covering next.
Couple of crazy thoughts/theories going into the finale. 1). Tap in theory: (just occurred to me) Sazz intentionally went into Charles’ house, knowing the sniper was watching as a way to sacrifice herself for Charles, therefore the message was her telling Charles it was her last time tapping in for him, and she did it to save his life. 2).The entire Hollywood team has been shooting the trio this entire time - which will actually be what the movie is. - maybe they faked sazz’s death or killed her and have been taping the trio like a reality show for a documentary style movie. 3). Howard is the mastermind, and a former student of dudenoff. CLUE: after the shooting on set, Howard says he learned to never stop rolling, but then hesitates to say who taught him. He eventually says the brothers sisters. Surprised nobody has talked about this. 4). The actors are in on it somehow. Eugene Levy appears to collect mable’s fingerprints by asking her to open chips for him. He also looks concerned when Charles mentions sazz’s stunt center. Eva acting weird all season… 5). Bev melon went to.sazz’s stunt facility to try and find script because she knows Marshal stole it. 6). Lester the doorman is shown in the same scene with Marshall helping him wheel in their jackets - very sus considering what we know about Marshall and how little Lester has been in it, this makes sense for the mastermind theory. Lester has all that access. 7). Jan is the mastermind. She wrote the note on her own door, mad at Sazz for breaking it off. Sazz tries to warn Charles about this but is killed before she can (goes with first theory).
Love these! I do think that if sazz was faking her own death it would be a bit heartbreaking for all the beautiful scenes we have of charles processing this, it would feel a bit like a waste of emotional investment if that were true. I do also agree that bev was 100% looking for something in the shed in episode 4/5, there is no way she was just wandering around in there holding a gun for no reason, also how would she have even known about it?? much food for thought, thanks for sharing all of this :)
6:15 - 6:17: This makes me wonder if unlike the previous seasons, the killer will just march into the trio’s apartment with a fricking shotgun and just confess to murdering Sazz while gunning the place down, it would be a *TERRIFIC* way to end a season and unmask the killer!
The not figuring things out is on brand for the trio -- they never figure things out til late episode 9 and only when hit over the head with something!

Still can't let go of my Detective Donna as Moriarity theory. Yes, you are correct. She has provided the Trio with very helpful and timely info and tips. But what if she is only giving them "bad data" to get them off the right track. She mentioned to her wife that she need to crack a big case in order to get promoted. What Tim Kona had approached her with initial details of his investigation of Teddy's grave robbing crimes. She takes the info and intends to work it as her own and not share any credit with Tim. She then poisons Tim before Jan comes in to "suicide" him. The Trio moves in and puts all the pieces together before Donna can finalize it. Same with Tim's suicide mystery. Now Donna lets the Trio do all the leg work with the plan of taking credit for the case. Donna is so focused on her career that she is willing to kill to get promoted. She'll feed them info so long as it helps her. She planned on killing Charles because he was the best detective of the three??? Hey, I'm just throwing spaghetti up against the wall. LOVE YOUR VIDS!
The thing is, she wondered why Tim's tox screen, & phone analysis requests weren't processed. She gave Mabel Tim's phone. She said she wonders who in the police department wanted to keep Tim's Case closed. There's a rotten cop in her police department. I noticed Charles sister's husband is a cop, but he may not be the one that held back previous reports.

I'm watching this review before I was able to watch the episode. Is there a reason for why Lester's luggage trolley is in the apartment? This is the 3rd time were seeing that trolley this season.
I agree with your feelings about how they just throw things at us that we’ve already solved… it seems necessary but, is it? Scooby Doo was actually a great model for mysteries that I wish OMITB would use. We gather the information ourselves, nothing spoon fed, until the last possible moment when Velma explains how we should have solved it. That’s what we need here, less time spent telling us things we know and more clue-giving. Wait till the end to explain it.
All I keep thinking about with this season is scooby doo in cyber chase with all the doubles lol but you're right, scooby doo was goated and omitb wishes it could be on that level 🫡
Bummer about your Guardians⚾️😪 When was Helga supposed to have moved away? That was such a young pig. Like baby baby pig. And the apartment didn't even have sheets or much of anything but did have sawhorses??? Why? I don't buy it. Who would leave a pig in a bathtub? What did it eat? Where did it potty? Pigs are very loud and can be very demanding and destructive? Why did she have a pig at all? Where does a locksmith get a pig in New York City? How did Howard have Charle's brother-in-law's cellphone number? Why is Loretta so wierd? What about Bev in the shed? Where were the rest of Sass's joints? What did Lucy find out when in the Arcatacombs? Who took pictures of Lucy & Charles?
When I read "why is Loretta so weird" I cackled LOL You raise very good questions, the Howard knowing Mike's number kinda killed me a little bit I'm not gonna lie, like how much plot convenience are we supposed to excuse at this point??

I also still cant get over Cinda's massage person being named Helga. They also have a crime board on the new Matlock and when you zoom in it isnt full of fuckery.
I just need to stop investing in these clowns but I'm in too deep at this point 😭
@@kitkatz3859 my friend said, do you even enjoy it at this point and I was like im not even sure. it's like a skit about a murder on the carol Burnett show and it is not meant to be solved it's meant to be funny. but no one pinned that note to my door so here we are.
@lisa-lisa-lisa that's kinda the perfect way to describe this, yes it's funny and yes it's intriguing sometimes but ultimately the priority doesn't seem to be making sense to solve
I'm watching this review before I was able to watch the episode. Is there a reason for why Lester's luggage trolley is in the apartment? This is the 3rd time were seeing that trolley this season.
@@psiloveyou1964 they used it to transport the toilet ham for a game night! Could be a reference to something important later though, good catch!
@@kitkatz3859oh, ok, thank you! I should've watched the episode, lol, before I took up your time to answer me.
@@psiloveyou1964 absolutely not taking up my time lol I appreciate you being here!
@@kitkatz3859 “let’s play ball” 🔥🔥🔥
Bummer about your Guardians⚾️😪
When was Helga supposed to have moved away?
When I read "why is Loretta so weird" I cackled LOL
You raise very good questions, the Howard knowing Mike's number kinda killed me a little bit I'm not gonna lie, like how much plot convenience are we supposed to excuse at this point??
