Have a fabulous time at the retreat! To Pam, wow those sweaters are gorgeous, I’m so sorry the recipients aren’t knit worthy. Thanks Devin for another great episode.
Ah, always so fun to watch. Im so excited for the retreat. I'm so thankful you give it your all. It's appreciated! See you in a few days!❤
I’m glad to hear how Karen was complimented for her cardigan. A word of encouragement does go a long way! I hope you all have a wonderful time in Dallas! I will miss being there and seeing you all (and will be a bit sad later this week) and will try real hard to make the next one. If it ends up being within driving distance for you (northward), Devin, it might be for me too. Wherever it is, I hope to be able to come next time. Take lots of pictures!
Pam's knits are beautiful. So unfortunate that her DIL does not appreciate the love that goes into a hand knit item.
I can't believe I'm going to see you TOMORROW! Woo hoo. Dallas... I can't wait. I'm sure you are already there, but if not, safe travels.
Hi, good to see you! When you mentioned the retreat I got FOMO, big time!😂🤣😂🤣
Do have a wonderful time in Texas at the retreat. Great video today, your camera crew did well. 🇬🇧
Hello from Swansea, Illinois.❤❤❤❤
Have so much fun at the retreat!! Can’t wait to see all the pictures and hear all that went on!! ENJOY!!!
Can't wait to hear all about the retreat!
I love, love, love seeing the pictures of knits using KMP advent and I am so impressed with knitters who have FO's! I have decision paralysis trying to decide what pattern I want to create with the advent. The colors are so gorgeous (Devin it really is a work of art!) and I remind myself that its always best when I am inspired to knit😅. I just have to have patience and wait for inspiration😊
Hello Devin, I love your ‘Everywhere Cardigan’ ❤ you are wearing. I have been looking for the perfect cardigan to knit and you just happened to be wearing it…what are the odds? 😂 I hope you have a great trip and I will be looking forward to hearing about it. Safe travels…Mona from Michigan 😊
Lovely Musselburgh hat! I'm making one too. Love your podcast ❤
Devin, I’m suffering huge FOMO for not being there next weekend. Enjoy your time and I look forward to hearing all about it. Thank you for showing my work to everyone. I hope there are children somewhere enjoying my knitting ❤!
Your podcast is my hands-down favorite of all of the yarny podcasts I follow. As I watch, I feel like I’m spending time with my knitting best friends. You make me laugh. Sometimes I cry (like today when you shared my comment.) Thank you for brightening my day.
I have big time FOMO about the retreat. I’m counting on you sharing all about it in your next podcast. I’ll be thinking of you all and wishing you the best retreat ever.
As for my Zanette Knits colorwork sweater - I’m close to putting it in timeout due to a poor color choice I made but didn’t realize it was a poor color choice until I’d invested hours and hours. Still I plug on hoping it will work out in the end somehow or other. Can’t decide if that is grit and determination or pure stupidity. Maybe some of both. 😂 Love ya and happy knitting.
hi i always enjoy watching you
Great work, Pam!! 🎉 your baby and kid knits are beautiful and obviously full of love.
Thank you! When I see all the things I’ve knit I wonder where they are. I hope some children are enjoying them ❤
Sending prayers for you and your family, Karen 💜
Thank you ❤
Thanks for the warm welcome :) I hope you have a wonderful time at the retreat! I can't wait to hear about it in the recap! safe travels!
Sympathy to Pam. My rebuffed gifts weren’t made by me but my son’s second wife was somehow angered by the full skirted dresses I gave my granddaughters. I spent the summer with them ( the family was overseas and I took daughter from first wife for her summer visit) so every time we would go out to eat, which was almost every evening, I would tell the girls to go get dressed for dinner as I changed into going out cloths. The girls 4 and 6 were delighted to be “pretty” and twirly. Hanging in the closet were all the beautiful baby dresses I had sent with the tags still on them. Why do some people not like beauty?
I can’t roll my r either 🤷🏼♀️ 4 years of Spanish in high school didn’t matter. I hope y’all have a fantastic time at the retreat!!
I can’t roll my R’s either. I also can’t roll my tongue. Haha
I go to designers’ websites whenever I can to buy patterns. The Ravelry people (forgot their names) despise conservatives. So I do miss it sometimes, but not giving them any money unless I can’t get the pattern anywhere else.
Hi Devin, I admire the way you can think through issues, and value your thoughtful comments. So I have a genuine question…no snarkiness intended! With the pronunciation of words where do we draw the line? I understand making the effort to call someone by name with the correct pronunciation. I have a Russian friend whose name Julia, is more accurately Yulia. But with city names … if we’re speaking English should we not use the English version? In French, Paris is accurately Pah-REE, but when speaking of it in English we say Paris. We say Brussels, not Brue-CELL (Bruxelles). No one seems to mind. Should we not just accept the English version when speaking English, and try to be correct with the pronunciation when speaking the “local” language??? I welcome your thoughts. Enjoy the retreat! Judi
When do we get to vote on the next retreat location? Bc I’m voting for Ohio!
I,m in dallas- are there day passes still?
I am a member of the sock club, how do I get to the Facebook group? I joined the club so I could knit with others. I feel a bit left out.
