What did you buy with your $1200 Stimulus check? Part of it for me was my new freezer. It's a couponer's dream right?
Very very nice, I told my husband to buy one 5 months b/4 all this happened, but NOOOO, he wanted to wait, so now there are NONE! I went to Lowes and the sales rep stated (in our area) the waiting list was up to at least 500, stop taking orders. I'll keep checking Sam's, Costco, Home Depot, etc. Thanks for sharing.
I have one like that!! I love mine. It is stocked with meat right now. I am actually looking for another one for ice cream, and Popsicles, and fries that kind of stuff. Great find!!
That’s a very nice freezer! The metal circle on the side of the door looks like it’s for a key to lock it. That’s what our upright has. I hope you’ll have lots of fun finding great deals to stock it!!

We always had a n upright freezer at my parent's house. We used to get orders of food, mostly meat, from American Frozen Foods and it would be full for the year. My dad used to hide Girl Scout cookies in there too. LOL

How is that freezer doing now? And Is your garage air conditioning? I’m thinking about buying this freezer but I’m trying to decide where to put it since my garage is not air conditioning or heated. I know it says garage ready but I’ve killed freezers and fridges by putting them in my garage
It's really nice the upright freezer are the Best I had one when my kids was younger now since everybody is out and on their own. I downside to a smaller version which now I store all the grandkids goodies😋
I sold my cube purchased an upright freezer and have been happy since. I purchased the smaller one though for $299 At LOWES.

You need to fill soda bottles, ice cream buckets whatever with water to freeze. If the freezer isn't full it will keep kicking off/ on cooling the AIR.
In SC, I called Home Depot and they said they could not order ANY freezers, not even on backorder. I called Lowes and got an appliance associate that knew his stuff and said there was just one freezer he could order. I ordered it for my sister and said it would be here in a month. If you need a freezer now, I would suggest you look at your local Mom and Pop stores that sell appliances.
Wow that’s a really beautiful freezer yes it looks great for easy organization long time to wait but at least you have it now enjoy
I love my upright freezer. I had a chest one before and you’re right about things getting lost. This is so much easier and to even make it better I went to Walmart to the kitchen section and bought 4 dish tubs and labeled them chicken, pork, beef, misc. Now I’m not just tossing things in the freezer and I can pull the tub out when I need that item and I still have room for other necessities.
I just bought one of these and SHOULD be delivered mid Sept. Our old upright died and luckily the meat was still almost totally frozen (almost a whole elk). We fish and hunt quite a bit and the space and organization capabilities of this look to be good.
We finally bought one last week!! Our local Lowes got a shipment in...they were all sold in less than 24 hour's!! We had been looking for a freezer of any type since March!!

I purchased a stove, it took a month. I like your deep freezer, I have a lot of icecream and meats and I hate having to bend down to clean up. Cool freezer👍👍👍😮
They have been sold out for so long since the you know what😳😳 I grew up with the same kind and I want one now!! Prices jumped to but congrats great purchase💙💙
The "little thingie" on the door that you pointed to and wondered what it was for is to lock the door closed so munchkins can't get into the ice cream or other items you want to protect. In all of the brochures that come with the freezer you should have gotten a key that you insert in the door to lock it closed. Just got one of these myself and it will really be put to the test this summer here on the Texas gulf coast where a garage temperature can soar off the charts. We''ll see how "garage ready" GE's freezer really is. If any manufacturer of anything who wants to put their product line to the test, just come to Texas. If it can survive our climate, it can survive anywhere.
Thanks for the review. I’ve been thinking of getting a second hand fridge/freezer for my laundry room. I need more space of the fridge and freezer space. I sure got caught empty handed on the food as far as stockpile goes.

I came from the future, this freezer still have the same problem with high temp alarm beeping, I had one 10 years ago and nobody can't fix that

I got mine dec 2020 the door is start to not freeze but the rest of the freezer works. Please help if you have the same problem

THANKS- bought the 17.3 cu. ft. from Lowes- will be delivered 10-26-2020. For my 83-year parents to keep them from being pretzels with the chest freezer they own.

I'm sooooooo jealous! 😁. I got one from salvation army and although it was plugged in and worked, I regret buying it. The frost takes over and is taking up valuable real estate. We've done everything we can, so we're on the hunt for a new one. No stimulus check for me.
