Normally I don't love using digital tools for my wargaming, but the feature to build a collection and then randomize balanced waves from it is amazing. My biggest gripe with minis agnostic games is after I roll up the opposition I have to go hunting for appropriate minis to represent them. This would greatly streamline that process because I'm making my pool ahead of time.
Exactly! The digital tools in this case add so much to the experience! You are right too, this is one of the truest 'just use what you already have' mini agnostic situations.
Level 1 difficulty is very kind friendly and depending on their age you could just take out all the special rules for the first few games. It's the perfect entry for the younger audience! I'm keen to try it with my son haha
Absolutely, boarding actions and they like lend themselves so well to this system. Nothing more 'dungeon crawler' than creeping through the dead wasted corridors of a space hulk!
Would like to see the mission played out, or better yet, a whole campaign. I think I'll have a go at my own campaign. It seems a good way of starting on a new faction (as heroes or enemies), which can then build up to firefight or full-on battles.
Keep an eye out, we have that exact mission coming soon! Yeah its great to build up a new faction or a good excuse to paint a single hero model and use it in a game!
@hobbyhomies I trust youtube will duly reward our high quality interaction with algorithm boosts etc. PS actually looking forward to your breacher taking on a can't-believe-it's-not-space-marine
Yep it's super simple, and once it reaches the threshold depended by your difficulty setting, you'll spawn a new wave of enemies. The app is pretty good in that regard, as it'll prompt you
Great stuff. Please make more vids of GF Star Quest. Cheers.
Hit the bell because we got another one coming next week!
@@hobbyhomiesSweet! Excited
I have so many more miniatures in 40k then age of Sigmar so I'm really happy played my first game the other day space Marines vs sisters next ad mech

What terrain are you using? Battle Systems? If so, which set?
Its mostly Infinity terrain by Corvus Belli! Cant remember what sets we have, ill try and sus out next time we are in the studio for ya
when does alertness come into the game?
At the end of the round, just roll a D6 and on a 6 alertness will go up by two, otherwise you increase it by one
@hobbyhomies Oh that's simple enough? Thanks !

Surprised that Star quest isnt a copyrighted term by now

Rortis lives! 2:04
Rortis the combat tortise is back for blood
So D&D, if you took all the role-playing out of it...OK strange
Yeah we call them "tabletop wargames"
