Ha ha I agree but it was still only around 2 years out from the Wild Ones and 4 from those first singles. If a band had 2 decent albums 5-6 years apart now we'd think they were amazing.

Bowie (I'd say, as a talented musician/composer myself) spawned SO MANY bands that did not get their due! Since Queens very first TV appearance, tons of bands that were adamant about playing LIVE were NOT allowed to by Top Of The Pops! These guys are so perfect and have it so DOWN!! Proof? Catch the drummer miss a beat at 2min 10sec!
100% you can tell its recorded as well from the sound of the vocal, I always find Suede totp a bit hard to decipher if theyre live or not but I can easily tell this isn't. Its unfortunate because they're incredible live and Brett is a great performer in general. Sad how unpopular they are now compared to the other big 3 bands of the time too
Me again. RIGHT! I'm saying, their lipsync performance is so exceptional though, visually! Showing how perfectly SUEDE would have nailed it and sound better live! Countless bands from QUEEN to NIRVANA were able to prove top of the pops WRONG, but were forced to mime!

They have to be The London Suede in America, presumably there is already a US artist with the rights to the name Suede
