It's so embarrassing how nobody said Italy were going to win the Euros, everyone were just hyping France, Germany, Belgium, England and Portugal but in the end Italy won. And also, it wasn't a surprise that they won, because when they entered the Euros, they were unbeaten for 27 games so that's a surprise huh? Bullshit not at all people, that number is huge and is close to the all time record. But in the end it's good becasue Italy showed the doubters who's the boss in Europe. Btw, they're unbeaten for 34 games now, which means they need to be unbeaten for 2 matches to become to longest unbeaten nation in international football history. Which they will succeed, pretty certain about that.
Not everyone but Yes, in the mainstream prety much.. I was following Serie A from before their failure in 2018 and ever since. The 30 games unbeaten without actually conceding A Single goal (they don't mention 2 other records Italy broke before the KO stages begin) and the one Premier League held for most goals scored at a European Cup with like 8 games to spare. I could'nt believe how they(by they I mean main stream pundits and journalists especially Gary Neville and Co.)doubted them. They probably should have spent more time following Serie A.
15:47 " Yeees!! Thank god for giving us football!!! Thank god for giving us football that make us hug, that make us dream...!!" The other commentator to him: "...hug me Fabio... Hug me!.. HUG ME!! " 🤣
awesome video... Italy was breathtaking. Amazing year for Italy in sport this year.. winning the 100m sprint and the 4 by 100m relays in the Olympic games.. which is even crazier than winning the euros.
That is the difference between us and other country! They may have better players or a better strategy but we play with the proudness of being italian, we play football with our heart, not with our feet!
From a Laziale: My friend, I have seen you for months now, listened to your Hungarian, Romanian reactions to music and even some Italian and I must say, you have gathered some serious football knowledge. In terms of players, football teams, history of many teams(yes with gaps and sooo much more to soak in) but seriously, you did like a sponge and even took interest to see many football fans' videow etc. You will use it to achieve some goals, it is Beatiful how things lead to others things, just watch how you evolve in life and keep your focus on stuff that inspire you. Ps: for some reason I find myself mentioning Jesus in my comments quite often nowadays so hey, He always is with you and I ain't no "churchgoer" so called brainwashed person. Bless
If you are wondering why Donnarumma didn't celebrate right away, he admittedly say he didn't realize it was the last penalty he just blocked. He was just so focused in the moment ...
Hi I'm Italian and Inter Milan fan and I must tell you that you still have a lot to learn about football, months before he became the coach of Italy everyone in Italy was already hoping for Mancini who is not only stronger than Conte but he is also more successful. Mancini makes the team play football what Conte does it is never understood, if you want I can go into detail let me know bye
Beh dai magari non è tanto informato su Mancini però devi ammettere che ha fatto un bel video reazione (Cioè fatto da un inglese che ammette alla fine che è doloroso ma ammette anche che l'Italia lo ha meritato) semplicemente fantastico ✌
Initially I thought this until the SF. Spain were on balance the better team on the night but they withstood it. Chiellini knew it which is why he was so confident ahead of the penalty shoot-out
is not so easy, spain played witouth morata, because chiellini and bonucci are the 2 best defenders when they have to face player like morata lukaku ecc, that was a realy inteligence strat indeeed (sry for eventualy error)
He dude, first of all I loved some of your Italy videos regarding Euro 2020 or WC 2006. But I want to point out few things. Your comment about Conte, there was zero % of Conte coming back to Italy. You have to understand, he only got signed on for 2 years aka one tournament. That was what head of FIGC offered at that time. When it was time to get rid of that deadweight Ventura, Ancelotti, Spaletti and Mancini were the names flying around. Conte never wanted to come back to club management and from those names Mancini was and still is the best name. Unlike Ancelotti he is young, still relevant and not tactically atrophied. Spalleti is someone who hasn't won anything and can't trust him with a rebuild of national team. Mancini was a perfect fit he is also offered 2 tournaments (4 years) unlike his predecessor and FIGC is currently tying him to additional one to Euro 2024 which is unprecedented. Also worth pointing out, those who follow football after France, who were overwhelming favourites, had Italy along with Belgium, Portugal and England. Italy had unprecedented qualifiers, you can't go 30 games unbeaten and not be counted among the favourites. Anyone who didn't have Italy as one of the favourites but had the likes of England or Belgium, then you are either bias against Italy, or don't know much about football, or both. Nice video, keep going and if you would like some input or context into Italian game, would love to point you to sourced if you interested. Take care
I disagree about Belgium. I believed that the winner would come from Italy vs Spain. Belgium was at their peak between 2016 and 2018, when their defenders was still decent. Also, with the tactically naive Martinez in charge they'll always lack the necessary steel and cunning to become champions.

did you really watched the game against italy? Morata played really well against italy , one penalty missed mean nothing . I had seen players like Baggio and Messi to miss penalties in the finals . Probably with morata on the pitch they would had won but actually it's not like Spain had so much more scoring opportunities than italy .they only had more ball possession due to the fact the fact that Spain played with 6 midfielders and Italy with 3 but the match was balanced
Yes, it was a typical display from Spain - lots of possession but not so many clear cut chances. As you said, with 6 midfielders on the pitch they were always going to have more of the ball. Italy are blessed with so many excellent midfielders right now: Verratti, Jorginho, Barella, Sensi, Locatelli, Pellegrini, Zaniolo, Zacagni, Pessina, Tonali ..... Perhaps Mancini should try playing 6 of them in a friendly? It's going to be very interesting to see what both sides do when they meet once again in the Nation's League semi-final. I'm hoping that at the very least, Mancini will finally drop Immobile. I would be tempted to play Zaniolo as a false 9 and have him, Chiesa and Insigne interchanging their positions. Another option would be to pack the midfield and go with a 3511/352. This system was very effective in the opening game vs Spain in Euro 2012, the 2013 Con Fed Cup and the Euro 2016 2nd round game.
I predicted it after first 2 games, watched every game though, told work colleagues and they're all surprised and loads got back to me after they won it. They looked so good every game, so I knew they would win it, funnily enough video says you likely didn't predict this but if you did enjoy spending lottery money, I also won lottery only 250 euros but ye..mad.
you should react to: "italy, the great revenge"
The Morricone's music in that video 😌
Best video out no doubt

Vialli and Mancini did a fab job with this squad.
8:22 i completely agree with you, and i think it also might've been the case with france v argentina in world cup 2018.

Nice video 💪💙
I too thought the winner between Italy and Belgium was gonna win it all. Glad I was right as I celebrated the italian style.
Initially I thought this until the SF. Spain were on balance the better team on the night but they withstood it. Chiellini knew it which is why he was so confident ahead of the penalty shoot-out
Spinazzola is from Juventus,he came through their academy
Spain looked amazing cause they had to use 6 midfielders to do what Italy was doing with 3, period.

It's that we won with the Germany in Germany in the 2006, at the semifinals and we did it again this year with the England in England in the final!! 😅
9:37 that was a clear penalty though
