I've been around Olympic and Paralympic sports for 60 years. You're right, Ryan, these medals will open doors for you the rest of your life. Great effort in 2024.
I coach throwing at a small high school next door in Mississippi and I enjoy showing your videos to my students to develop an interest in throwing and track and field. I have a couple of throwing nerds who told watch your channel as well. Keep up the great work!
Fun fact: When people are manufacturing certain medical and scientific instruments, they have to find steel that was smelted prior to 1945 (like that in the Paris medal) because everything smelted since has enough radioactivity in it (from a thousand nuclear explosions over the years), which can affect the readings of the instruments.
These are sick! One small correction is that Nike, goddess of victory, is on the medals, not Athena (though it does show the Acropolis in the background, so I get the confusion since that did have a statue of Athena in its heyday). Love watching your throws and can't wait to see what you do in the future!
Congratulations Ryan. As a former shot putter I know how difficult it is to get in championship form. The fact that you have been able to do it consistently for three Olympic cycles is awe inspiring. No pressure because you certainly have nothing to prove, but man just seeing you in L.A. representing on hone soil would be amazing 🎉😊.
One half of me is so happy for you. The other heartbroken for kovacs. If he was born either a few inches taller, or a generation earlier… but you know, if i had wings i could fly.
Hi Ryan, hope all is well with you. Any tips on what area of the throwers that needs to focused on in just 1-2 months of preparation? It will be a big help. Thank you!
Incredible dependency in your performance, to throw consistent bombs like that after the troubles you've had this season. Massive congrats! Nobody else could get a huge one in and before we knew it the heavens opened. So can we get a celebratory discus meet or two? I recall you saying you'd consider it after the Paris Olympics. You coached a gold medallist in the discipline, after all. :)
Ryan, you forgot to show people on the Paris gold medal how it differs from all the rest on the front. In the distance on the front of the medal is a little Eiffel Tower. Congratulations on number three!
you are the G.O.A.T. .. when I was a kid it was Randy Matson who just won and won , and more legendary you are closing in on AL Oerter territory. A question, sent with respect in all caps.... you seem to be girthier in the mid section this year... do you think that might be slowing you down in the spin? Just an observation from a huge fan.
I don’t have it with me, I gave it to my mom for safekeeping. It’s a really cool poster, it is one of the standard Paris Olympic posters, but has a authentic stamp in the color of the medal it accompanies
Hello, I'm a Japanese junior high school student. Congratulations on your recent gold medal. I was very moved. On a slightly different note, I'm a shot putter, but I got injured and couldn't move as well as I wanted in an important competition. I'm a little depressed. What would you do in a situation like that?

4 olympics... 12 years.... What an inspiration!
You know you are a Jamaican citizen now right. Excellent coaching, that is as impressive as you winning... again!
Congrats on your third and dominated after recent injuries too! Plus learning you helped coach Roje Stona to a gold was pretty damn cool too

It’s called low background steel, but its not worth that much anymore today
You made a nation proud! Congrats once again.

I've always wanted him to do discus as well. He would have been a top athlete no doubt if he chose to do discus instead.
legend
Go Ryan!!! 🤘🇺🇸👏
You're a fucking beast, dude. If you manage a 4th in LA that would be absolutely untouchable.
Looking to tie Al Oerter in 2028?
I followed his entire career. He used to work here on Long Island at Grumman. All time legend.
Like you, sir. 👍👏💪🥇🥇🥇
Congrats mate

Best athlete since Bolt!!!
GOAT
Ryan, it’s time to update that TH-cam Bio from 2x to 3x Olympic Gold Medalist
I didn’t know you had a YT channel. Cool.
Yay
congrats 3 medal... the 4th medallllll coming to LA...
Well done, Ryan! Love your videos, you are such a well-spoken person
Thank you!
King of shotput
The TH-cam algorithm finally showed this to me
Definitely an GOAT
The GOAT of shotput. Number 4 next Ryan then you equal Carl Lewis with 4 consecutive Long Jump Golds...
And Al Oerter who won 4 consecutive discus golds.
Congrats!!!
Quick question: Does an 80Kg, 170cm guy stand a chance in professional shot put, providing his technique is good?
What was the poster thing they gave all the medalists on the podium? Is that cool? Thanks for showing and congratulations, GOAT.
I don’t have it with me, I gave it to my mom for safekeeping. It’s a really cool poster, it is one of the standard Paris Olympic posters, but has a authentic stamp in the color of the medal it accompanies
@@RyanCrouser23 Very cool. Thank you!
His hands especially the shot put hand makes the medals look so much smaller😂😭
The real gold is the dog
Kinda wanna see you get a goat and name it PutPut, because you're the GOAT of shotput.
that's not Athena, it's Nike, goddess of victory
I want to join also in next Olympics... I'm practicing breaking dance😂
Upsalutly you are the best in shot put.you are my role model.sir one question my,what diet you take vegetarian.
He’s not vegetarian
❤

You are asian dont try to be oversmart ... weak person should not do shot put
New Crouser just dropped
🥇🥇🥇
Which one is your favorite asthetically? also which is koda's favorite
Koda seemed to like the Rio one, I’d say Paris
Grew the beard and reached full form
Time to update the description i guess
You need to try strongman and are you going for a forth gold?
You can still easily win gold at the next Olympic Games. So far, only Al Oerter has managed that in the discus throw.
how do u win this 😢😢 much medals 😮
Hard work
مبروك،الفوز،،اقترح،تجربة،رمي،القرص،والمطرقه،،اكيد،ستنجح❤
Is it true that samsung gave you a special edition phone
Odd, how each Olympic, Ryan’s beard has gotten longer
