If yall wanna get some great beginner tips, you can set your camera settings to the pros. And you want to turn down your flip deadzone a bit to like .6 or .7. Just helps some easy mistakes.
Also getting bakkesmod which is the main modding software helps make the game smoother and makes replays better. Plus you can get some stats like rank during the game.

I use to play RL all the time with these 2 friends. When the game went free to play we had another friend that wanted to play the game. All 3 of us were diamond at that point. But we decided to just take him into our diamond lobby’s. Within 2 months dude was plat 2 and actually solo q’d to D1 in 3s. It was crazy to see. A few years back the friends I played with stopped playing and just put all their focus into CS. I kept it up till I finally hit GC. Then I stopped playing and just played CS all the time. Thinking about playing RL again. But I hate solo q and I can’t get my friends to play it again. 🤣

Rocket league is such a rough game to try and get into. The only reason I load it anymore is to see the items that carry over to rocket racing.

Anyone that has played for a long time knows some of this is hard to watch, no dis to Grizzy and the gang, but some of this is truly hard to watch for someone that has some time in the game.
The fact he still hasn’t turned on ball cam a single time at the 5 minute mark is really hard to watch lol
Make sure to turn off camera shake and you can change the camera settings to whatever feels comfortable
