I have bought one of these it’s not great on cycle time 14sec I think !but it will split anything I throw at it and I mean anything Great piece of kit!
If it’s a true 3/4 inch piping and valving you could put that common Honda V-twin motor with the 28gpm pump and increase the rod diameter, then increase the filter size and possibly an oil cooler and you’d have 41ton 6 second machine. May not even need the 2 stage pump. Looks high quality but folks in the professional class of splitters are getting used to quicker cycle speeds
I think the working height of the machine is too tall. It is also quite slow in the cycle time. Granted the test piece was quite gnarly. It would have been better to use the single wedge. I also think the screen on the back side of the machine is going to cause some pieces to get jammed and will likely break it off. Better to just let the pieces fall to the ground.
Wow that is some ugly wood! I like the screen to keep the splits off the ground. You guys should license build for Eastonmade you already have the paint!
