2:45 it says that the larva is just the first ID character. It's very common for games to default to 0 or 1 on numbers like character ID when things go wrong.

By consistency, if you mean how well they play Mithrix is definitely the most flexible (with bands of course), albeit he can't interact with anything except taller shrines. Otherwise if you mean consistency by randomly becoming him through weird connection, I don't think anyone has actually had that happen. Reason people become Larvas randomly is likely due to their character ID resetting for some reason and defaulting to 0, which is what Larva is under.

yeah: you can actually do this with CheatEngine online really easily, if youre the host of the game Ive had fun hosting public lobbies and then just picking like, an engineer turret or something, and seeing how long it takes people to notice

@@salarmer1633 Main thing is their interaction area (or whatever it's called, the placement that determines where you can interact with things like chests and shrines etc.) is always different; so taller monsters like most bosses can only hit shrines at best, whereas lessers like Beetles, Lemurians, and other low-standing ones can hit most of anything. As for picking up items most can still run into the majority of tiers to auto-pickup them, but otherwise the interaction rules from before also apply to picking up Lunars and Void items, along with swapping out Equipments.

If it's you there's probably something off, otherwise if it's players they may be disconnecting on their own volition upon seeing what magic you've done to yourself or them. (unless it was like an instantaneous DC the moment something started up)
You start a run with 2 or more people and the non-host players have to die and then leave the game and rejoin then let the rest of the players die as well so you can restart the run after that start the run back up again and the players who left and rejoin should be playing larva
I get it if you’re doing a tough challenge but I just don’t understand why people casually run command. RNG is half of the fun in a rogue like; with command on it doesn’t feel earned at all. You might as well just notepad in billions of lunar coins while you’re at it

I sometimes run command and sometimes I just go without it to see what rng has in store for me, but in the end, both are fun it their own way

Yeah! From what I know, every enemy works exactly as a normal survivor, they have their skills and can have items.
