    Two quick tips:
I bring a small sharpie and mark my fuel cans after every burn. When I get up to 15 marks the can gets put in my overlanding kitchen and gets used up Jeep camping.
I bring sugar free Ricola's and pop one whenever I'm on a long climb. It helps keep your mouth wet when you start sucking air and the menthol opens up the nasal passages so you can keep your pace up.

Cool ideas. I see you do have the fire making gear needed to save you from the cold with your fire plugs and bellow. You must have left them home. LOL. Fanny pack, hmm. I am diggin the water bottle cap. Simple but great idea. I take a ribeye please! Have a great day.

Some really good tips, Crow. I like the Tic Tac container. Good idea. As we age, unfortunately we are probably going to be needing to carry more meds with us! SMH!
I have one for you...what is the eventual downfall of most of these little backpack stoves? Corrosion from moisture, overtime, right? Well every dehydrated meal comes with those little moisture absorbing packets in them that we usually just throw away. Why not take that packet and just slip it in with your stove? Change it out with a fresh one every time that you cook another meal. You're packing it out and throwing it away, anyway. Just slip it in with your stove and let it absorb moisture from around your stove as you're hiking (or biking, or kayaking) out.

    Good video. Nice tips.
Medicine - I use a mini altoids tin. It's big enough to hold my prescription meds for a couple night trip and some Alieve, Ibuprofin, Benidryl, and Immodium. I also add a couple cotton balls so the pills don't rattle. The normal tic-tac container, I use to put salt & pepper packets that I pick up at fast food places (Mostly Chick-Fil-A)
Nice hack for the Get Out Gear blanket. I've been looking for a light weight summer solution.
My firestarter kit is a large tic-tac container. In it I have a couple of Mickwick firestarters, mini bic lighter, small fero rod, and a Gerber Dime Multi-tool. I also have a bellows tube (doesn't fit in the tic-tac container. It's the collapsible handle from a Dollar Store campfire cooking fork.
Permethrin is great for a general treatment. I ditched the Deet and switched to Picaridin. Deet eats plastic and Picaridin doesn't. Deet also makes me feel weird/funny and makes my skin tingle.

I use cotton balls or dryer lint soaked in cooking oil or Vaseline for a emergency fire starter in wet conductions, I also use an empty chap stick tube that I pressed in my deodorant to keep the pits fresh. Contact lens cases work great for storing sun block, or cooking spices. I also use a large sheet of Tyvek cut to the size of my tent for aground cloth, super light and tough. A trash compactor bag works great for a pack liner to keep dry goods dry. I really like the small rag your using great video! Cheers! 🥃

Good tips! I like picaridin over deet myself, especially since you can spray it on just about everything and it won't destroy your plastics like deet will. I've had some shoes get ruined by deet. As for permethrin, man I love that stuff. Started using it this summer and have been on a few trips hiking for hours through some tall thick weeds and never had a tick on me yet other than a dead one that was on my sock and never made it up to my skin and one that was on my pants which had probably just landed there off of a weed which I then just gave a little flick to send it off.
