Yes, I couldn't agree with you more. I remember seeing him bowl back in the day and was in total awe of what he could do with so little effort. Truly unreal.
If Richie got by Barnes in that match, there is no doubt in my mind he wins that major. Wolfe is just a raw talent. Smoothest player I have ever seen also along with being the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He put out some videos years ago when he was at Annandale (Va) lanes that went through basics. I still watch those videos every year.
Pre resin his release was really unbelievable. For awhile after resin, he really flattened out his release, on this telecast he appeared to bring some of his old power back. But just some.
Love it when Randy makes his predictions. Title match. “200 will not win this match.” Guess he was right. It was only one ninety something. His was implication was that it would take more. Not the first time his prediction was slightly off. Oh well! Happy, happy for the winner. Seems like a really decent human being. Go Scroggie! You rock!
Being exempt means you can skip the Tour Qualifying Round, or TQR. When you join the PBA tour you can usually only bowl certain events, and you have to make it through the grueling TQR to actually make it to the event's roster. Exempt players get to skip the TQR and go straight to to the event's qualifying rounds, and they can usually bowl any event the want except for certain invitational events. The most common way to earn an exemption is winning a title or finishing high enough on the points list from the previous season.
Richard Wolfe simply throws a bowling ball the way it should be thrown. Seems most every bowler even at the highest levels stops to watch that swing and release.
They really screwed up at the end of the Barnes and Wolf match when they put up on the screen what Barnes needed to have to win...Before he left 6 in the 10th frame they said he need 8 pins to shut Wolf out...then when Barnes went for the spare they flashed up he needed a spare and 6 pins to shut out..LOL Nice one! :p
This was one of the times I’ll say that Barnes did what he needed to do, but just got a bad break. It’s not like his melt down at both toc against haugen or kullick
Richie Wolf - one of the smoothest styles you'll ever see and incredible power in his release.

Wolfe never won a tour title, phuckin' unbelievable

Bowled against Rich in some leagues. The guy is a legend in this area
I wish they still showed the board and speed of the ball.

What does "3 years without exemption" mean?
3 years without going down to the exempt tour
Okay, but what does going down to the exempt tour means?
fabptitpom He can stay on tour for another 3 years without having to work for it

That’s hilarious. He said “Poopypants” at 15:02

Rich Wolf has a really good game.
Randy: “2-0-0 will not win this match”... scroggins: shoots 191 to win
Mike Scroggins and Chris Barnes have bowled some exciting matches
Andrew Phillips how many exciting matches have they bowled?
Volume is fine.
I know rich Wolfe. he works at my alley
jake kerns Sounds dangerous!
I wonder if this is Duke's lowest televised score.
Volume
+OG Old Gamer Faulty sound on Samsung and some other mobile devices. Better use headphones for quality listening
I'm on a computer with 500w speakers. The uploaded volume on the video is low. It's got nothing to do with anyone's playback setup.
+OG Old Gamer I think that precisely in this case the speaker size does not allow video playback properly Maybe you should try a smaller speaker
+yacovarb1 volume plays fine on my phone so I'm not sure the problem
other youtube videos sound fine.
Chuck Pezzano. R I P
Chris Barnes, biggest choke artist ever. He's only a front runner.
This was one of the times

Tough format.
I'll never understand why Barnes likes to drill all his equipment to roll out and hit flat.
the title match was low scoring
Andrew Phillips how low scoring was it?
