The beat was an ode to the late great JDilla. Those who grew up in the 90’s can appreciate it. The guy that said he didn’t like it couldn’t have grown up listening to 90’s Hip Hop he came across like he hates everything anyway. Perhaps he should look within. Peeps from the Northeast ie NY and NJ specifically understand just how hard that beat was. Only those out of touch or real young Hip Hop Heads who have grown up on more computer generated beats don’t like this beat. Every beat doesn’t have to be some complex staccato laced machine generated beat to be great. NY and NJ Hip Hop started out grimy, simple and hard hitting.
