My favourite thing about Tyler is that he's the farthest thing from a sore loser. He knows he's uncoordinated and not very good at sports, and he knows Lindsay had trouble remembering his name, but he never let's those problems get him down and keeps trying.

This is the first example of a rigged total drama elimination. There were loads of rigged boots in the franchise but this one stands out to me because it was the first time Chris cheated someone out of the prize

it's pretty much the intention, at the end she felt guilty and thought on deserving to be eliminated, heck, she was the only one who didn't mock him by his fear in the elimination.

Tyler deserved to win a season, but the problem is there is no smove way to do that after his setup In season 1 as just a comedic relief sort of background character. The only way I could see him winning a season is if he's in a Ridonculous Race 2 or something.
