Really well made

Rest of the band: Surfing in Hawaii with a martini
This comment is pure gold 😂
What the hell does that even mean?????😕
The devil needs vacation too
Dang... SO GOOD! 😂
😁
The chirping birds instead of thunder and rain...just...awesome
Indubitably!
it really is, attention to details
Never in history we saw a crowd this big in a jazz concert
Man i don't wanna like this comment for it has 666 likes
Tbh I'd pay to see Slayer perform this version
You never went to the Montreal jazz fest
th-cam.com/video/hMYVvjoXf4o/w-d-xo.html
Bruh, technical jazzcore, where have you been? Lol
This is so relaxing, Slayer elevator music.
wait, the original one isn't relaxing?
Was just about to say that
Slayervator
Birther😊
the lack of feedback from the guitars makes the intro the best part
Despite being such a successful band, most of them are still very shy and need to collect themselves before facing the crowd.
The bird song is what does it for me.

@@CosmosCho let's keep it that way
@@artso1990 Somebody just ruined
why am i hearing birds chirping in the opening holy shit im scared
You're scared of birds chirping?
It's drawing attention to the fact that there is absolutely zero feedback coming out of any one those Marshall cabs.
They've come for your soul!!!! Bwahahahaaa!!!
Playing this through some heavy speakers in my kitchen in the morning,I thought the chirping was coming from outside, until I read this comment😂
I’m surprised in 11 months no one has actually answered this question seriously. In the original, the guitars are feeding back through the speakers, howling and wailing in a ‘hellish landscape’ kind of way. Birds singing is just Andy’s hilarious reinterpretation of that sound.
Lol I actually laughed when “Girl from Ipanema” started playing
Another great song.
The best song to mosh to
@John Sampson It's only natural to pump your fist when you hear that song 🤣
Followed by screaming “RAINING BLOOOOOOD!” 🤣🤣🤣
Greatest metal solo ever.
As a person who loves both genres this is masterful
Indubitably.
Same here ❤
Exactly. It's brilliant.
I actually unironically like this
Rock Metalhead Kid me too
Same
Same, same. I love how the vocals actually somehow fit. Especially the "raining blood" scream
That's cool! But when will you learn what irony means?
@@phutureproof No I actually like this version musically not just for laughs and giggles
Holy shit the bass work on this is virtuoso level.
Unlike Tom's actual bass playing on this song 🤣
Shane McCollum that is Tom's actual original recording, they just took out all of the horrible mixing and editing that was on the official release. I'm glad that it's actually seeing the light of day after almost 40 years lol
pittzz God damn captain obvious. You might know the original bass line, but you sure as hell don't know a joke when you see one.
Andy is a true virtuoso fo shizzle! Musical genius in my non certified non expert opinion. But Andy is a serious bad ass
Yesss
This is what slayer is gonna do when they retire
that would be sick shit and they would make a fortune

haha it was so great!
Yeah pretty fuckin' funny mash up, I've loved both songs for over 25 yrs now.

well, girl from ipanema is popular samba instead of jazz

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It will be raining blood in Ipanema when Slayer plays at Rock In Rio later this year.
Andy Rehfeldt should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Pure genius LOL
The Girl from Ipanema solo was awesome...
i couldn't believe what i was hearing ahaha
I came guaraná seeds.
Especially since the whole crowd is like

@@taffysaur wtf did I just watch. Only SLAYER could get away with something like this. It's like the crowd still heard it the normal way.
As a brazillian metalhead, who also enjoys Bossa Nova, i say: Thank you!
Me too! This is a varied taste BTW, I like both!
Ever seen Sepultura perform "Aquarela do Brasil"? Cause I do and it was AWESOME :D ( Actually, the whole show was awesome, 30th anniversary tour, in a small french pub, a dream come true :P )
Ewwwwww ...with all respect
Ah, man!... I never laugh so much!... lol
That's great, buddy!
Toms smile @ 1:38 just fits this so perfectly
Tom smiling like that all the time really sells the jazz vibe lol
This was the best nearly 5 minutes of my week. Just what I needed. Bless you for this.

The line of bass is so sick
I feel love and calmness, while being sprayed with blood and intestines.

...Perfect soundtrack for an American Psycho XD !!
Rip and tear. Until it is done.
What the jazz! Are you preparing living food?
The Girl From Ipanema breakdown is spectacular! Very well done.
Jeremy Zenkar that was the best part
Superbly classy!
Understatement! LOL!
I was actually thinking that the Jazz rendition of Slayer's music takes much more musical talent than anything that Slayer has ever done.
at 3;00, holy shit yes that's genius
Audience cheering The Girl From Ipanema, priceless. Work of Genius.
The Girl from Ipanema is probably the hardest breakdown you can put in a jazz song to be honest
Can we get a Death-Metal Iponima, or what?🙂.

You are good my friend.
AND a slam-pit!
Even with Tom's relentlessly nihilistic lyrics, this ups the band's positive energy quotient by like 10,000%.
If only Kerry King could play guitar this clearly
There's no chance Tom Araya could pull of those walking bass lines either.
The worst would be listening to Lombardo try to swing like this.
