Really fun! I honestly would suggest that an MK Chaotic remake would work best in something like IKEMEN, a MUGEN version that allows for many cool features like multi slot select (which better organizes for variants of characters such as many scorpions etc.) and so on. But this was really great. If anything the only characters I miss from the older MK Chaotic is the unmasked reptiles, seeing as this game kept the unmasked scorpion variants in. Bastante buen trabajo.
Thanks! I agree on unmasked reptile and will try to change it for another version. About the multislot, it was on the original New Era but causes crashes and its a lot of work to configure correctly. Might try to do an alternative versions with that on the future

Tengo un problema cuando le apreto a "arcade" le apreto a un button no importa cual es y me regresa al menu no importa cual modo escojo es lo mismo ayuda.
Me parece raro, la única explicación es que se esté presionando el botón o tecla ESC. Intenta cambiar de teclado o control para probar si sigue el problema

No ronald mcdonalds. A streamline version. Also is it possible to put alt costums/versions in the same slot and press start to change outfits? Just my opionion iv been trying to build my own version but im new didnt realize mkp was a seprate app then mugen

Diego, how to overcome the "BG error reading stages"??? That ugly thing does ruin my game. The game allows me just 3-4 matches, maximum, and then, error! And with the "4GBpatch", it's just 5-8 matches instead of 3-4. No much better((( What to do????? P.S. And another question: I'm an ignoramus (a dummy), how to enable the "boss mode" for a char (to make him instantly pass out with no groggy state and thus, with no FinishHim)???
...I still don't know how activate the "boss mode" for a character. And what of "BG error reading stages"... Now, I know the cause of the problem! If the stages are too "heavy" in the sense of graphics and/or size, and/or are, in addition, not too appropriate in the sense of compatibility (e.g., too many working 1.0 stages on 1.1b MUGEN or in MKP)... ...in such a dramatic and dangerous case, o mugenists, kindly make absolutely sure that you put a VERY SMALL number of the stages into your select.def file!!!!! And now, my exact report: 1. I do minimize the number of stages, keeping just those absolutely needful in the sense of the story (in my case, they were super duper heavy, but just 28 in total). 2. The measure that proven the most important: I delete ANY other stage from the select.def ! 3. No stage I kept exists under [EXTRASTAGES] label. Instead, every stage is attributed to a specific character. So, the stages prove a bit repetitive inside the list (and the final location, "The Pyramid", is required by the story to be ULTRA repetitive, since two tremendous armies met by the said Pyramid of Argus). 4. And, no character is "freely roaming". Instead, every character got "their preferred" stage. No "Shin_Sub-Zero, order=1". Instead, always "Shin_Sub-Zero, stages/Fengjian_Teahouse_Night.def, order=1". Et caetera. 5. The total number of appointed matches (to beat the Arcade mode) didn't exceed 18. A solid part of them is attributed to "The Pyramid" (to imitate the big final battle), as said above. 6. And, in addition, just to be certain (one can't be "too much precautious"), I swapped MKP.exe file by the "4gb" mugen.exe file. And... "BG error reading stages" vanished! Was cured as is! Note: the number of characters in the select.def doesn't matter (absolutely doesn't, gentlemen!), since you made your mugen.cfg as follows: PlayerCache=0, Precache=0, BufferedRead=0, UnloadSystem=1. In my example with MK1(2023), -- the makeshift MKP-version of it, -- the characters were more than a hundred. And... no harm from them. The harm was produced just by the excessive list of stages. (A small addition: the 4gb patch can sometimes make 1.1b Mugen (including MKP) crash. But I removed the "4gbpatch" exefile and put back the MKP.exe. And... nothing bad happened. The game still works.)
Hi, there is no selectable boss mode. If you want to change someone you could enter the char folder, find the chars name, open de "name".def and erase or change the author line

Te diría probar lo sgte para ver donde esta el problema. Primero entrar al archivo data/mkp/select.def y borrar los nombres de personajes que estén luego de shaggy (con un backup). Para saber si es por memoria o vídeo. Sino cambiar la entrada de vídeo en data/mkp/system.def

Si tarda mucho es que necesitas más RAM, recomiendo eliminar personajes como creo que hiciste (los de abajo). En general configuré el juego para que funcione con requisitos bajos para todos los que tenemos PC simple =)

Awesome work!!! Just downloaded and have been playing tonight. I understand this is "choatic" but do you have a cleaner version? With out the fan made charaters, no nonsence version? No ronald mcdonalds. A streamline version. Also is it possible to put alt costums/versions in the same slot and press start to change outfits? Just my opionion iv been trying to build my own version but im new didnt realize mkp was a seprate app then mugen

Diego, how to overcome the "BG error reading stages"??? That ugly thing does ruin my game. The game allows me just 3-4 matches, maximum, and then, error! And with the "4GBpatch", it's just 5-8 matches instead of 3-4. No much better((( What to do?????
P.S. And another question: I'm an ignoramus (a dummy), how to enable the "boss mode" for a char (to make him instantly pass out with no groggy state and thus, with no FinishHim)???

And what of "BG error reading stages"... Now, I know the cause of the problem!
If the stages are too "heavy" in the sense of graphics and/or size,
and/or are, in addition, not too appropriate in the sense of compatibility (e.g., too many working 1.0 stages on 1.1b MUGEN or in MKP)...
...in such a dramatic and dangerous case, o mugenists, kindly make absolutely sure that you put a VERY SMALL number of the stages into your select.def file!!!!!
And now, my exact report:
1. I do minimize the number of stages, keeping just those absolutely needful in the sense of the story (in my case, they were super duper heavy, but just 28 in total).
2. The measure that proven the most important: I delete ANY other stage from the select.def !
3. No stage I kept exists under [EXTRASTAGES] label. Instead, every stage is attributed to a specific character. So, the stages prove a bit repetitive inside the list (and the final location, "The Pyramid", is required by the story to be ULTRA repetitive, since two tremendous armies met by the said Pyramid of Argus).
4. And, no character is "freely roaming". Instead, every character got "their preferred" stage. No "Shin_Sub-Zero, order=1". Instead, always "Shin_Sub-Zero, stages/Fengjian_Teahouse_Night.def, order=1". Et caetera.
5. The total number of appointed matches (to beat the Arcade mode) didn't exceed 18. A solid part of them is attributed to "The Pyramid" (to imitate the big final battle), as said above.
6. And, in addition, just to be certain (one can't be "too much precautious"), I swapped MKP.exe file by the "4gb" mugen.exe file.
And... "BG error reading stages" vanished! Was cured as is!
Note: the number of characters in the select.def doesn't matter (absolutely doesn't, gentlemen!), since you made your mugen.cfg as follows: PlayerCache=0, Precache=0, BufferedRead=0, UnloadSystem=1.
In my example with MK1(2023), -- the makeshift MKP-version of it, -- the characters were more than a hundred. And... no harm from them. The harm was produced just by the excessive list of stages.
(A small addition: the 4gb patch can sometimes make 1.1b Mugen (including MKP) crash. But I removed the "4gbpatch" exefile and put back the MKP.exe. And... nothing bad happened. The game still works.)
Hi, there is no selectable boss mode. If you want to change someone you could enter the char folder, find the chars name, open de "name".def and erase or change the author line

Primero entrar al archivo data/mkp/select.def y borrar los nombres de personajes que estén luego de shaggy (con un backup). Para saber si es por memoria o vídeo. Sino cambiar la entrada de vídeo en data/mkp/system.def

Si tarda mucho es que necesitas más RAM, recomiendo eliminar personajes como creo que hiciste (los de abajo). En general configuré el juego para que funcione con requisitos bajos para todos los que tenemos PC simple =)
