I got a question for ya! I ride both of my girls in a dogbone mouth piece with maybe 1 1/2" shanks. They're super short. They both work really well in those. My daughter even barrel races her horse in it since it works really well for them. We're going to be sorting for the first time this summer. Do you think that would be okay for them? I know you said no shanks, but my girls DO NOT like a single break in a bit. I know I could get the dog bone mouthpiece in a snaffle. Just didn't know if the super short shanks would be a big deal.
