So if anyone else wonders why fire attacks with sword are used in this anime for regenerative enemies, let me enlighten you. Irl, when treating burn injuries doctors have to take a patch of healthy skin and put it on the body so it will spread. Kinda like how grass spreads in minecraft. Ofc idk if this is true exactly bc I heard different doctors talk about this at different times. Also it was when endeavor (from my hero academia) was fighting a black nomu at hosu. He noticed that the nomu could regenerate, so he burned its head to ash. He did say "incinerated cells can't regenerate". This is true due to the fact that cells normally regenerate irl. Burned cells can't bc ash can't regain its former self. So yeah this is a little explanation as to why rimuru used this magic against the orc disaster, and why benimaru did against charyptdis when fighting clayman's army.
I like it, in case you are planning to make part 2, maybe they can react to Rimuru’s death, or maybe some things from the light novel but it’s fine if not, I am just recommending not forcing.
