      Every time I hear a foreigner say the word spicy, I resist the urge to dive for a dictionary and look up what spicy actually means.
      What in the world do foreigners eat if everything we eat is spicy for them. I don;t exactly know, but whatever they do eat must be pretty bland. I can't imagine food without spices.
      Edit: Now I understand History, why these Europeans went gaga over spices and when the spice trade was interrupted, they freaked out and colonized us. Damn them, could have thought of growing their own spices. Why enslave us?
      And before you start, sweets does not count, I am talking about salty food. I fact, I think if we had this video about Indian sweets, these same kids would be saying "that is way too sweet for my taste-buds..."

    In this video kids just says that it's spicy actually they all are sabzis (ਸਬਜੀਆਂ ) and they are a type of toppings or source not to be eaten directly. They should be eaten with roti, boiled rice, naan, puri, etc which all are spice less or very lightly salted and it complicates each other.

      This is prolly a joke but mostly because they're used to sweet and light spicy food. As an Indian I've eaten a mix of Indian spicy foods and sweet stuff with butter chicken as one of my favs. And it's actually quite sweet when made by North Indians as a keralite my mom itself said she added chilli powder to the butter chicken because it wouldn't be south indian without atleast a bit of spice added especially because the adults prefer spice.

      @aaronsirkman8375 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sadly, I think some people's tolerance for heat really is that low; it's a combination of mindset and exposure, I think. They don't try anything spicier, so anything remotely spicy tastes intolerably hot, and they're not willing to changer their perspective even if they can. Which is a waste, because plenty of Indian food isn't even spicy at all, and it's all absolutely delicious.

    • @guitardipu
      @guitardipu 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not complaining. Neither did they have curry. But Indians eating curry is the most common stereotype (at times it becomes very racial), that is what I meant. Moreover, these were mere vegetable tryouts and not proper/common Indian Dishes. But look even a Young kid thinks 'Curry' whenever its India. Would it be proper If I say oh China..Noodles, Oh Britain ..Fish and Chips, Oh America..Hamburger. See this is stereotyping. Moreover, these are not the Staple food these countrymen have for proper homemade meals. Try to understand the context buddy before you reply. BTW the most common Indian food would be Rice, Roti, Dal with aloo sabji or other Veg recipes/Sabjis. Moreover, most Indians do not have Non veg on a daily basis, so consuming chicken 'curry' daily is usually not done.

      BTS infires my soul: Mirchi Ka Salan
      is a traditional Andhra dish made with pan fried mild chillies and
      simmered in a spicy sesame & peanut curry. The gravy has a nutty
      flavour with the addition of roasted sesame and peanuts and is thickened
      with the help of coconut. Make sure to get the really mild chillies or
      Romano peppers.

      Gregory Eatroff i feel like after being on the show for so long , they've grown to be so open-minded. I say , get some kids off the street , and have them try these foods. Pretty sure a whole different outcome 💁 maybe ,maybe not
