Dr. Mattie Moss Clark taught us one big lesson in this, she maintained the dignity of her daughters, the service, and the entire Church of GOd in Christ in that moment.
When The Anointing touched Dr. Mattie Clark she jumped right out of her seat and left her cane standing next to Twinkie! Awesome to witness!!! Powerful!
I think hearing her daughter sing gave Momma Mattie the strength to get up an direct that choir. All she needed was that boost. But they said on Unsung that even with her leg amputated Mattie still kept doing God's work up until she was bed ritten. That's how strong her faith was. She was not going to let the word of God be missed out on by those who needed to hear it most. If God is in you its gonna show out be it through sickness, health, good times or bad, you'll still give him the glory.

That includes Twinkie, Dorinda, Vanessa, Betty, Kim, Lashaun, Ella, Yolanda, Aretha, Patti, Anita..etc! Each has a unique styling that the other can't do. But has a connection that allows them to utilize the others abilities. So many try to take from Karen by saying she is a derivative of others and the others are originals! I don't no one singer that can copy any of what she is doing in this video or when she cuts up! Even her echoes! Just give credit where it's due and enjoy! But you have to remember that the Convocatio is the Presiding Bishop's business meeting and annaul address to the church. My advice, take everything spirtual out of it (the prayer room, alter services, the Word) and do with the rest what you will.

Idk what it was but it was annoiting in the air! You could it feeling moving all around! The Holy Ghost was there that night Amen! People talking about too much runs but that’s how they express themselves, it’s like speaking tongues but singing, Twinkie ministers through playing the piano, her fingers are blessed by the grace of God, Dorinda is blessed with ministry just like her mama telling people about the word of God, Jackie is blessed with healing being in a medical profession she helps people feel better and nursing them back to health, Denise isn’t a black sheep she just felt like she was trapped under her mom that there wasn’t anything for her except to sing for God, Their mom was a push over and she admitted that but that was because she was pushing her own fears into her children. She knew they were gonna be great but also she wanted them to be great in the house of the Lord, healing people with their voices and ministering like she did. She was hard on them yes but it was for a reason and this is why, The Clark Sisters are legends for their musicality, their harmonies, and their incredible voices, Even Denise is still singing and she’s getting her kids to sing too, I grew up on the The Clark Sisters my mom played all of their songs everyday and they are my idols, This is why I started to sing because they were so different then regular gospel groups, they found a way to blend secular music with gospel but still taught God through it, that’s incredibly hard to do but they did it and I’m thankful for that, I’m only 19 and I’ve been abuse, neglect, my parents died and I was adopted with my sister, I was bullied, and the song I first heard from them was Name it and Claim it, I never knew why I was going through so much at a young age, I was angry at God and everyone around me until i heard that song and it was like God spoke to me, telling me that whatever I go through is for a greater blessing, he has to put us through just to get us out! And everyday I thank God for those hardships that I went through and I’m still going through with myself but I’m not angry anymore😊

Convocation is a different enviornement nowadays. Lately it has been really spiritual. But you have to remember that the Convocatio is the Presiding Bishop's business meeting and annaul address to the church. My advice, take everything spirtual out of it (the prayer room, alter services, the Word) and do with the rest what you will.

Idk what it was but it was annoiting in the air! You could it feeling moving all around! The Holy Ghost was there that night Amen! People talking about too much runs but that’s how they express themselves, it’s like speaking tongues but singing, Twinkie ministers through playing the piano, her fingers are blessed by the grace of God, Dorinda is blessed with ministry just like her mama telling people about the word of God, Jackie is blessed with healing being in a medical profession she helps people feel better and nursing them back to health, Denise isn’t a black sheep she just felt like she was trapped under her mom that there wasn’t anything for her except to sing for God, Their mom was a push over and she admitted that but that was because she was pushing her own fears into her children. She knew they were gonna be great but also she wanted them to be great in the house of the Lord, healing people with their voices and ministering like she did. She was hard on them yes but it was for a reason and this is why, The Clark Sisters are legends for their musicality, their harmonies, and their incredible voices, Even Denise is still singing and she’s getting her kids to sing too, I grew up on the The Clark Sisters my mom played all of their songs everyday and they are my idols, This is why I started to sing because they were so different then regular gospel groups, they found a way to blend secular music with gospel but still taught God through it, that’s incredibly hard to do but they did it and I’m thankful for that, I’m only 19 and I’ve been abuse, neglect, my parents died and I was adopted with my sister, I was bullied, and the song I first heard from them was Name it and Claim it, I never knew why I was going through so much at a young age, I was angry at God and everyone around me until i heard that song and it was like God spoke to me, telling me that whatever I go through is for a greater blessing, he has to put us through just to get us out! And everyday I thank God for those hardships that I went through and I’m still going through with myself but I’m not angry anymore😊
