My question is why was the video focused more on the drummer than on Jared Leto; who is the one we come to see? Perhaps a relative of the drummer's filmed it. Love the song and what little I got to see of Jared, when it wasn't a blurry image.

Not everyone is there to see Jared. Some are there to see the whole band and really, quite a few "prefer the drummer". Shannon is an amazing man, with undeniable talent and passion.
