I have a 2011 Hino 268 Hydraulic Disc Brakes. Truck is slow from a stop. Only after its warmed up. No fault codes logged. 1st and 2nd gear are slow. Accelerator pedal says 50% throttle when pedal all the way down. Then in 3rd gear it lets it rev back up to speed. Neutral and park it allows you to go full throttle.

I have a problem with my 2017 Hino 268A I think it runs lot slower than other 268’s specially on the hills and also it struggles a lot to reach 65 mph on the highway. HK Dealers in Edison NJ already replaced the injectors and took away the check engine light code. I adjusted the sensor on the brake pedal however the truck stills feels week to me when taking off or on the highway. I feel disappointed. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated ! Thank you !!
I realize this is an old thread, but I’m having a very similar issue. Truck starts, idles and revs up just fine, when you move and it recognizes vehicle speed it bugs down dramatically, and dies. Starts right up and same issue again. I looked at this sensor and wires and it doesn’t look like any damage, I’m at a loss 😢
Hey my friend i have same problem with my hino 2009 drive good but at time the truck lose power like run out of gas just replace turbo still having same problem no check lights
@@truck_diagnostic hey I have a 2012 fm 2630 with Alison At, abs light is on and has disabled exhaust brake and truck is over reving in each gear and not going into over drive I have a bill of 4K now with my local hino, they have plugged diagnostic into has no fault codes , they orders a new abs module and tried that and no good also 2x electricians, I’m stuck any help would be greatly appreciated willing to pay $$

My 2009 Hino 145 no power when at complete stop then it picks up after i let off throttle and press again. Does not have air brakes. I changed the throttle body and still. Please help

Try to scan the code maybe has a inactive codes from there we can try to figure out but most problems loosing power air filter , turbo, fuel filter , egr valve I'm not sure if u truck has , and common rail last thing trans if u have abs light on will have problems too

Hey man I need you help with the same situation I replaced the brake switches by the paddle I replaced the brake hydraulic booster and turbo . Still losing power when accelerating but once I reach 20 mph and drives just normal . I will pay for the information please how can I reach you

Have a Hino in the shop with this exact problem. They had to bring in a Hino Canada rep to figure this out. Wish I seen this video 3weeks ago!!!!

It turned out to be the brake switch. Hino suggests replacing the brake pedal return spring and adjusting the brake switch.

Don't have more codes most problems on the truck is fuel restrictions exhaust brake stuck and turbo sticks on the leakage
