I find it interesting how people who use cheats never seem to have the instinct to like, stop shooting when their target goes behind a wall. they don't have the sense to just stop.
I don't cheat and sometimes I get tunnel vision and forget to let go of the "kill enemy" button lol
It depends how fast they go behind a wall, if it's instant then the aimbot takes a few to catch on. At least from my experience

@@groupie8985you know that people advertise their cheat programs on youtube with live gameplay. id recommend not watching it tho becuase once you see how it looks and how it works you will spot it in kill cams in your games and it will make you angry and no one will believe you or care.

I hate, even more than the cheating, how he turns around every single time he spins so he takes 100% of the damage when backing up.
Perfect proof that the cheater probably has no idea how most of the heroes or their abilities work. I guess you don't need to when the game basically plays itself for you and you can melt everybody near instantly. It is impressive how this guy's decision making is so poor that they manage to get regularly deleted despite that. The only thing he has to worry about is where to move and he can't even do that properly.
Lol yeah I said nearly the exact same thing. Dude is only "good" with hacks. If I had these I'd be T500 compared to this guy. If you're going to cheat at least try to learn the heroes a bit....smh it's like a slap in the face.

@개 yh you clearly don't know your shit. Most aim hacks like cakeX or etc don't account for each projectile and the speed of each to consistently hit their shots, this is far more advanced than the regular shit you'd probably see on a soldier 76 cheater

When the Orisa started leading his aim *directly into the ground* in prediction of the falling target, that's instant cause of suspicion.
After that Honestly when I saw them Spam there Cool downs I was like yeah they're Cheating
It's crazy how these cheaters are so neuron deficient that they can't even win a game with literal aimbot
that's the beauty of overwatch, you can't brute force wins with perfect aim, at some point positioning and gamesense need to be up to snuff aswell. Like I'm a plat DPS so I know at least something about where to position, when to engage, who to engage and whatnot. If I were to play Cassidy with a full on aimbot I could probably climb to masters as the perfect aim would make it easier for me to win my fights, but I wouldn't pick unwinnable stupid fights like going 1v5 against a team behind a Rein shield. Or the infamous floor widows we've seen in other cheater videos.
That's the thing cheats just can't do yet, give you gamesense. But I'm afraid AI might be able to close that gap. I can totally see someone using AI to analyze pro play and top 500 games to train it to give you good advice on where to go, who to shoot, when to disengage complete with visual markers on screen and shit. THAT would be scary.

Aimbot and walls doesn't make you invincible. Most cheaters assume that all you need to win is not to miss. But this is a moba. Best aim in the world won't stop you from getting rolled by focus fire.
I wouldn't say worst cheater, there was a cheater on a Hollywood game that was worse then this guy.
I think it’d be amusing if the game had unique voicelines that all players can hear that the hero speaks if the player has unusually good aim and tracking, like aimbot levels of aim. Perhaps the hero expresses how shocked they are that they’re landing as many shots as they are.
Very true. As far as I know, the closest thing we have to that is Widow’s “What’s an aimbot?” voiceline that you have to buy.
I'd love for widow to have a special voiceline if her scoped acc is lower than a certain number. "Twenty seven shots, one kill" is my favorite gag whenever a friend is whiffing.

It's sad because a lot of the reason I enjoy playing these games is learning to get good at them as well, it's a great feeling seeing all that practice bloom into skill. Cheating like this feels so detrimental to the whole experience.

I know in Tears of the Kingdom (yes I know wrong game lemme cook) the Octoroks predict your motion for their shots. They do this based on your current motion at the time of firing. So you can just move in circles or left/right to avoid almost every shot.
I assume this aimbot works the same way. Since Orisa shoots really fast, you'll still get hit, but changing directions super frequently would prevent a lot of it.
I think a baby skunk is too nice, I'm feeling more of a dodo bird myself. I feel like skunks would have more common sense personally.

THIS WAS THE BIGGEST CHANGE FROM OVERWATCH 1 TO 2.
Making a competitive game free to play FLOODS IT WITH CHEATERS and really hurts the health of a game. ActiBliz knew this. They also knew a year ago they were ditching PVE. But neither of these things mattered because all they REALLY wanted to do was increase monetization with the least amount of effort possible. OW2 was little more than a predatory shop update with a skeleton crew kept on for maintenance.
An aim botting orisa seems scary until you realize most cheaters have an IQ lower than a rock
People like this get away with it because people in those ranks really don't believe they are cheating.
My personal favorite tank cheater was back in OW1. We thought the enemy hog was cheating but couldn't be sure but then he swapped to Winston and it became obvious. A Winston with aim bot is about as funny as anything in OW can get.
Seeing people with cheats like that lose is good for the soul.

I forgot Orisa is a projectile hero so when I saw the title I thought the hacker wouldn’t know about damage falloff and would just be standing back doing 0 damage.
Here's another subtle thing revealing this Orisa to not actually have that good an aim:
His crosshair placement in netural is pointing at the floor. That's a mistake I used to make for a very long time until someone told me I should stop doing that and try to keep my crosshair at head level. Nobody who hits so many shots that consistently would still have such a bad habit.

I don't play OW2, but I'd be interested in a series of videos talking about proper positioning and his thought process while he plays at his level. Watching videos from high level players talking about the game they are passionate about is always interesting.

@@_EXP626_ yeah if you’ve played enough Overwatch you’ll have a basic understanding of how characters work just by playing against them. Even if you’ve never played tank before, you’ve probably seen enough good and bad tank play to have an idea of how those tanks should be played.

Flats mentions around the 6:20 mark that most people just dismiss getting kills in game by a plyer like the Orisa as a skill issue and the hacker isn't called out. But that completely ignores the other side of the player. When a player is killed they often just skip the killcam out of frustration or a "I saw what got me, it was the tank, no need to rewatch my own death". Flats here is watching an entire 13 min long playback of a game. Granted it didn't take him close to that long to figure out what was going on, but the point is most people are not re-watching games like this to confirm if the opponent was a hacker or not. Consequence of how we see skilled gaming? Maybe. But more likely just frustration and drive to move on to the next game and hopefully a win.
I think the Orisa going afk randomly is legit just them being too terrified to do anything but hide behind a corner unless they have fortify. They seemed to do it whenever fortify was almost over/on cooldown and wouldnt really peak unless they had it up

The elite gaming here is the constant usage of E as a speed boost to escape instead of going backwards with your E to block the damage and give you a higher chance of surviving your escape.

definitly looking at it in a replay you can easily tell, but i could completely see from their game sense it being difficult to realise mid fight, especially since its a projectile hero and that its a tank v tank most of the time in the clip

Somewhat, but people rarely take quickplay seriously so its not a direct replacement for ranked experience. Also overwatch gives you quickplay matches with opponents of similar ranked level

It's actually tracking the enemies through the walls. Like the Orisa was bobbing in and out through the church and tracking the enemies through the wall where they were no longer visible
anyone with a bit of gamesense can predict enemy's next move. Have you seen widow players? or hanzo players how they just prefire at you even if you're not visible to them. Im not defending cheaters but not everyone who shoots through walls is a cheater.

@@SpiggyOfficial they were using the spin as a soldier sprint and turning back while it was active, rather than using a it for blocking. kept shooting walls/cart(seriously,poor cart). leeroying and dying for nothing. i don't even play the game, but pretty sure this ain't good gamesense xD

Ah, yes. The way of overwatch for years. Smurfing to play in lower ranked lobbies that you shouldn’t be in to “learn the character” that you’ll then use against the people in the higher ranked lobbies. The practice is what exactly? What practice can you do in lower ranked lobbies that you can’t do in higher ranked lobbies? Roll the entire lobby?
I lowkey feel like it may be detrimental to swap to low lobbies to practice. Because the way players in different tiers act is incredibly different.

the orisa plays like a bronze player if that, their cooldown usage is just terrible, and they let the weapon overheat. Having that bad mechanical skills, they really shouldnt have that aim, it has to be cheating. Plus, the javelin shoots purely straight, yet you see it constantly turn towards the enemy players, you mentioned it I think when it was thrown at Zen, but at around 10:48 it clearly veers to JQ. Def a cheater.

that spear is just buggy Overwatch. “Client side” because the game can’t recognize exactly where you were aiming/it’s different than what the character is shown doing. Happens me and friends a lot where it “curves” because it goes straight but we are turning during it and game can’t keep up.

Flats appears to do very thorough testing on the reaction time, positioning, and cooldown usage of small animals and vegetables. Either that or when he says someone has the positioning of broccoli he's just making it up. I prefer to think the former has happened.

Overwatch makes it extremely easy to make aimbots that calculate projectile time, but they have good enough anti cheat that it’s really about how the cheating software or hardware conceals itself that makes it advanced
