I don’t think the blogger’s statement of “world’s highest motorable road” is correct. It can be stated perhaps as highest road where passenger bus transport is available. World’s highest motorable road pass is in Leh , namely Khardung pass ( ht: 19, 401 ft). Cars and motorcycles pass there and also military vehicles.

That's the problem.... that every time we see any lovely highland, we wish to go their in our own car and stay with all sorts of facilities. We don't try to think how much pollution and garbage these things create there. just look at pathetic condition of places like Manali, Kullu, Shimla, Masoori, Srinagar, etc., they're over crowded, polluted with excessive garbage and sounds of all sorts. Peace is gone from these once lovely places. They're over burdened and need help from us. But our greed for more is pushing them towards end. Sad end. We need to control our greed and give these places some space to breathe.
