That’s awesome! I feared the body cap lens wouldn’t not produce good results but boy was I wrong. Great lens for taking on the go and the 40-150 is perfect for travel. Cheers! ☕️
I own 2 pen-fs. Bought my 1st 3 months ago the 2nd a month later. Love them. Carry them everywhere. My other system are 2 Sony A7r3s great cameras but, they're not pens.
Great vid :) Got the 9mm f8 with my Pen F, but instead of using the two together I chucked it on my Lumix GM1 resulting in the ultimate discrete street pocket cam.
Hello I have been waiting for a new release in 2022 for this camera according to some rumors. I have been having my eye on either this or the OM D 10 mark IV. I didnt go for it because of the flipping down screen. So I am definitely leaning towards this retro style Olympus. Thanks and I subscribed to the channel
Very interesting - I don't own this little lens but you make a good case for it. I've been an Olympus shooter for years and whilst I wonder what the future will bring I hope I will be using my current gear for a long time to come. btw, I think the maths (percentages) at 5:30ish is a little dodgy ;-)
I have a Pen F too , have the 17mm f1.8 , 45mm f1.8 & the same zoom , I tried to attach my Panasonic Leica D Summilux 25mm f 1.4 via an adapter 4/3 s to m 4/3 s . it works on my OMD EM1 mk1 ,but won't work on my Pen F .any ideas ? Thanks
Not that I can think of. I did run into a similar issue when adapting canon glass and ordered a speed booster that didn’t work directly with my Pen and the mount. Might be the adapter. I went through 3 adapters before it worked for me.
@@duncanrae7504 It does not work on the pen f because the pen f doesn't have phase detect af on the sensor. In order to use legacy four third lenses Olympus added a small section of phase detection on the sensor for the EM1 Mark 1.
I have a Pen F with both the lenses you refer to, although my body cap lens is the 9mm fisheye. 100% agree with your comments......it's a joy to use👍

Great video and images! I have used the BCL-15 extensively the last year on my GF1 and E-P1. Love the lens.
Thank you for watching. I still use to this day as well. On a sunny day it’s a perfect combo.
Your photos are some of the best I've seen while using the 15mm pancake/bodycap. I had mine for years but I use it with my OG OMD EM5 Mark 1
I appreciate that!

Which one you recommend, the 15mm or the 9mm
15mm for my taste
