In News Tower, you will follow some of the key moments of the 1930s , but it will be up to you whether to cover and even influence them.
It’s up to your reporters to beat the deadline to get the news while it’s hot. Time is money in News Tower!
Use your reporter’s favorite topics to send them searching for the right news to get it faster, or it might already be old news by the time they return. The more they cover a topic, the more experienced they get , allowing you to sharpen your editorial line.
Search for exciting news across the US and the world that matches your reader’s interest and editorial line.
Will you decide to publish gossip to satisfy your readers' thirst for sensational press, or will you always seek hard stories for the truth?
A lot of news offers different avenues of investigation, unveiling diverse versions of the story. Send your reporter down a path, but be mindful of the risk and rewards of each: poking your nose around the mafia may lead to “offers” that you can’t refuse…
Not everyone is in favor of the freedom of the press…

By this point in my life I now have over a 100 wish listed games it was supposed to stay under 100 but here I am.
You'll have to unlock another page module by expanding out you'll have to see what building you'll need to get an additional page module. You can also get security to fend off the mob

I have to say your commentary is very soothing to listen to and I cant wait for Hollywood Animals to come out for you to do full game. This will have to do and these kind of games are just sooo good. Way better than the AAA games now which you never even come back to

*Small hint* in the map below the bulbs there are all the main tags and you can toggle like 2 to get the special tags, for instance if you turn on crime and society on the map you will get more investigation tags helpful when going to a new street/district
@14:50 "87 year old sold for selling whisky". Best guess would be, 'Sold' = Sold down the river, meaning he was betrayed by someone for personal gain.
Hey Charlie! I bought this game last night after seeing how much fun you were having with it, but also this is an interesting time period and gameplay style to me. I’m actually a bit farther than where you are in this video.

35:03 right at the point I'd have paused the game and tried to delete the stairs on the ground floor.
I believe for 3rd page you need to find it on map once new weeks kick in. Once you progress on map, you may eventually find another page module. Anyway, very happy to see you play this game

One father to another we have this problem with our daughter getting up early. We use a thing called a Glow clock I would highly recommend it

Good video, enjoying the series so far. Did you complete the whole of Wall Street? Looked like one of the icons was left to do at the top of the territory.
Might be time for another floor to cope with all those unlocks. You'll probably find the extra pages for the newspaper are a territory unlock.
I like this series, I feel like you should stockpile more paper to counteract the fees

@CharliePryo you can focus on a specific topic if you go to the map there are the logo's if you click them you can turn those of and you won't get those kind of stories

I didn't do much with the loans at all, because I try not to take loans in games like this. I would have just waited the 3 days till the print deadline restocked paper and then bought the equipment.
Loans are a tool. If you generate more income from the purchase of materials and equipment using that money than the cost of interest you are paying, then it’s always a good financial decision to utilize a loan, as a business.
This game is charging me 1% interest. $10. That’s peanuts.
@@CharliePryor Technically it is 1% interest per month which works out to 12% or $120 a year. As a tool if it helps you get ahead then great, but not as good of a deal as it appears at first glance in my own opinion.
@@jlbshecky6354 $120 a year is a solid deal. It gets me ahead immediately and permanently. Buying that page printer means three extra articles every week, and that equates to tens of thousands of dollars a year. No question, would do it again

Has to be unlocked, and there was no way to reach the unlock point at this point in the game.
OOOH the Mayor WANTS a story...just WAIT till they offer you a story that slams him into the East River....
the storie clashes with police, the fine won't be big as you thing it is. if you did the story, you would get 3 out comes. one will let get a away with out getting fine, and the other two word cost you from 100 to 200 or 300 in fines, there are 3 other events like this with 3 out comes, it's all base on how many points your reporters have.
The fines can definitely be higher than 300
