i truly thank you and your work for this entire seris. this is peak storytelling. spending that much for a series requires pure dedication that many dont have.
It’s taken me 4.5 months, but as of today I have officially watched 25 yrs worth of One Piece and caught up on this anime. I’ve seen this anime promoted over the years and never gave it a chance - I’m glad I did. 😊
@@Requ1998 started mid January and finished June. 😮 so I guess 5.5 months. I’ve had a chronic illness though so binging the series that span to pass the time wasn’t hard to do.
@@CamPerry He didn't say it wasn't long, or that it didn't feel like a saga. He is saying in "retrospect" (looking back after being caught up), it feels shorter than you thought it would, which I'm sure many fans would agree with.
I discovered One Piece when I got out of the military around 2001. By far the best story ever told. I am sure we'll all be laughing when the story is over.

I dont read manga much but, there few arcs that are remaining like, saving vegapunk, shanks vs Luffy for last poneglyph, journey towards laugh tale, final Island, Luffy vs world government and elders, Defeat of Elders and freeing the world etc.

I remember catching up to One Piece in the anime when the scabbards pulled up to Tokage port. Had to read the manga from there on out, couldn't wait for the anime.

@@edelgarddidnothingwrong3881 its possible because 5 months is almost equal to 150 days which means it can be completed by watching only 7-8 eps a day which will roughly take about 2.5 hr if you skip intro outro and recap and watching anime for 2.5 hours with managing school or college isnt that big of a deal i have done it myself

Luffy's birthday is on 5th May which means the pre time skip took place in the span of seven months. Assuming the straw hats reunited on the same month but two years after Luffy sent the message, Luffy is likely turning 20 at the end of the series.

Well said! One Piece isn't just an anime, it's a once in a lifetime experience. I may have many regrets in life, but I am happy I have gotten to grow up along with the Straw Hats ever since I started back when I was about 6 years old.
Accidentally started watching One Piece on netflix , unable to find anything good in Dec 2023. Completed 1100 episodes in 4 months. Now wait every week for a new episodes. Best anime story of all time.
When I was 9 I picked up the first one piece manga out of a book stores shelf. I am 29 now and read One piece on a weekly basis. I cry and laugh, make new friends and grow every day because of one piece. I thank all of you guys and Oda for being such an amazing community. The one piece exists!!!

What a gift it is to be able to watch and read such work, it's a beautiful anime and the best written story in history, what an extraordinary manga. The One Pieces is real, nakamas. A lot of us literally grew up with One Piece. I've been watching it since it first aired in the UK nearly 20 years ago and I'm so glad to be able to witness, and still be excited about, the story that is unfolding in front of us all these years later. Videos like this remind you how far the Straw Hats have come and all the memories they've created for us. The day it ends I'll truly be a broken man.
I’m glad I actually gave this show a chance. Started it in Fall 2021 and didn’t think I would like it, but when I first heard that opening “We Are”, something told me that my perspective was about to change a lot. I’ve caught up in Summer 2022 and if you couldn’t tell by my username by now, I’ve become a big One Piece fan. Thank you Toei and those that put their all into the show and thank you Oda for such a great franchise that will go down as one of the greatest stories in history. THE ONE PIECE IS REAL!!!!
I don't clearly remember which day it was, but I likely started one piece in early 2023, because I was watching episode 207 on 2 of July 2023. anyways, I first started watching One Piece after taking a temporary break from black clover, Now I finished the Black Clover anime and I'm currently at the end of Whole Cake.

I feel you! The Dawn is Coming! My heart, as weak as it is due to preexisting conditions, is not so strong. When I hear the Drums of Liberation, I am instantly moved and know that I am somehow healed. I don’t care what others say, even though it may sound 😅corny.
Decided to watch this anime for the first time about 3-4 years ago, Watched until the middle of Shark Park and dropped it, but came back after 2 months, and must say, that was the best desicion of my life. I began watching One Piece on daily basis, 20 episode a day (About 6 hours total), and in about 5-6 months I was on the Whole Cake Island already. The story, the music, characters and world building is phenomenal. I'm truly greatful for this anime, It keeps determined, motivated. Thank you a lot, Toei Animation.
By the end of the video, I got misty-eyed. I remember watching One Piece (albeit the original dub by 4Kids, but it definitely got me looking for the music from the original Japanese and I was looping Family for days after hearing that one) when I was around 18 so for me it’s been 20 years of watching it. It doesn’t feel like it though. And seeing the years and the significant events from the arcs all shown BY YEAR really rubbed in how many years have passed. Like, seeing how many years it’s been since Wano started. It’s been a spectacular journey and it’s incredible seeing how many have either grown up with the series quite literally as they’re the same age, or those who are older and still dedicating time to it as well as finding the newbies who start watching it these days while knowing there’s over 1000 episodes and movies to tune into. Happy Anniversary to One Piece anime! Congratulations for coming so far, and bravo to everyone who has been involved in it all over the world, but especially to the ones who brought it to life from a humble manga that has since grown into being a strong series.

It's absolutely insane that this series has been going on since I was a youngster. I got introduced through the 4Kids Dub and loved it till they stopped airing. Returned back to it when I heard more episodes were released, learning of the Funimation Dubbing. The journey and adventures were too awesome that I couldn't wait for the English versions and just went to the subs. Fully caught up on the Anime during Marineford, and the excitement wouldn't stop so I had to continue to the manga. 25 years of Anime Gold, 27 years of Manga Serialization, More than 3/4ths of my life I've been addicted to this series, and I'm still loving it to this day~. To think that I've been able to enjoy this journey near it's conception and release to now, and all the way through the Final Saga. I won't know what to do with myself when it does end, I don't know anything that can top One Piece for me. Gonna be interesting to see how the Netflix Remastering of it is going to go

Last year, i started my journey with the straw hats and as of today I just finished Thriller Bark. In the past year, I’ve had so many new things happen in my life, and I’m glad this masterpiece is a part of it.

It's hard to fathom for me, that I've watched and read One piece for 23 years. Monthly Shonen Jumps at my local Kroger, 4Kids dubs... Ups and downs, happy times and sad. Lost friends and found new ones along the way. Thanks, to Mr. Oda, and all those who've been a part of this journey. Never thought I'd live long enough to see the end, oddly enough! I was 6 years old when this series came out. I had no clue as a child how important this series would become to me. Going from “Oh I don’t like the weird art style” in 2007 school days To now wanting more than ever of the old school style but loving every second of each new chapter. One Piece is our modern legend. One that inspired me to write my own. Thank you so much Oda. To both you and Toriyama. You both helped shaped who I am today.

I can't grasp how people will hate on One Piece ever.. It make's no sense and the constant comparison with New Gen watcher's saying JJK is better is a horrendous take through n' through.. This Show has been not only great back then becoming One of The Big 3 but as well as now... within current time's still is great standing the test of time and growing better and better throughout the year's with quality animation and scene's.. The show standing tall for many year's and competing with other's and has now been passed the torch from Akira himself is truly a feat.. that shouldn't be over looked.. With pacing and specials aside this Anime has near perfect (since nothing is perfect) world building, character development, power scaling, mysterious aspect, loveable side characters to important figures, fights etc... N' Oda is a great writer no matter how many people try to downplay him, I truly believe other than AOT this story is beautifully made and will stand the test of time as something truly great for New Gen to pick up on and understand how to write better or more intriguing Show's.. (Nothing wrong with a all fighting show but make sure there's something behind it to make it have more impact than just fists...) To each their own on what they deem Greatest Of All Time and you should all enjoy which ever you rightly chose. For me and for the fans of One Piece who may feel similar to me.. I love One Piece and personally this is my Greatest Of All Time.. Glad to say Ima Straw Hat Member (kinda sound corny but I'll stand on it).. One Piece changes life's..
I don’t blame the people who hate on one piece I mean it ain’t that great of an anime I’ve seen better don’t get me wrong one piece does possess a really appealing cast well if were talking about me that itself is a long story cause I gotta be truthful thier are lots of characters I don’t like especially luffy personally I find his character corny along with sanji and chopper along with brook and most of the side cast I don’t like it be a really long story to say who I like and don’t like from the anime I used to watch one piece but the story got to long for my taste and also just couldn’t watch luffy’s corny character no more it just became to much if he was more like the netflix counterpart I probably would still be watching it today plus they just took to long to get to the fun stuff I couldn’t wait anymore it was to time consuming for me so I decided to get into other things that get to the point faster then this also when did akira pass the torch? Luffy's birthday is on 5th May which means the pre time skip took place in the span of seven months. Assuming the straw hats reunited on the same month but two years after Luffy sent the message, Luffy is likely turning 20 at the end of the series.

Started it in Fall 2021 and didn’t think I would like it, but when I first heard that opening “We Are”, something told me that my perspective was about to change a lot. I’ve caught up in Summer 2022 and if you couldn’t tell by my username by now, I’ve become a big One Piece fan. I feel you! The Dawn is Coming! My heart, as weak as it is due to preexisting conditions, is not so strong. When I hear the Drums of Liberation, I am instantly moved and know that I am somehow healed. I don’t care what others say, even though it may sound 😅corny.
Decided to watch this anime for the first time about 3-4 years ago, Watched until the middle of Shark Park and dropped it, but came back after 2 months, and must say, that was the best desicion of my life. I began watching One Piece on daily basis, 20 episode a day (About 6 hours total), and in about 5-6 months I was on the Whole Cake Island already. The story, the music, characters and world building is phenomenal. I'm truly greatful for this anime, It keeps determined, motivated. Thank you a lot, Toei Animation.

By the end of the video, I got misty-eyed. I remember watching One Piece (albeit the original dub by 4Kids, but it definitely got me looking for the music from the original Japanese and I was looping Family for days after hearing that one) when I was around 18 so for me it’s been 20 years of watching it. It doesn’t feel like it though. And seeing the years and the significant events from the arcs all shown BY YEAR really rubbed in how many years have passed. Like, seeing how many years it’s been since Wano started. It’s been a spectacular journey and it’s incredible seeing how many have either grown up with the series quite literally as they’re the same age, or those who are older and still dedicating time to it as well as finding the newbies who start watching it these days while knowing there’s over 1000 episodes and movies to tune into.
Happy Anniversary to One Piece anime! Congratulations for coming so far, and bravo to everyone who has been involved in it all over the world, but especially to the ones who brought it to life from a humble manga that has since grown into being a strong series.

It's absolutely insane that this series has been going on since I was a youngster. I got introduced through the 4Kids Dub and loved it till they stopped airing. Returned back to it when I heard more episodes were released, learning of the Funimation Dubbing. The journey and adventures were too awesome that I couldn't wait for the English versions and just went to the subs. Fully caught up on the Anime during Marineford, and the excitement wouldn't stop so I had to continue to the manga.
25 years of Anime Gold, 27 years of Manga Serialization, More than 3/4ths of my life I've been addicted to this series, and I'm still loving it to this day~. To think that I've been able to enjoy this journey near it's conception and release to now, and all the way through the Final Saga. I won't know what to do with myself when it does end, I don't know anything that can top One Piece for me.

Started watching in 2023 when wano was about to finish caught up with the latest episode and holy bro , just realised i watched 25 years of content in just few months bro it was a crazy journey ❤ , happy 25 years 🎉🎉
I can't grasp how people will hate on One Piece ever.. It make's no sense and the constant comparison with New Gen watcher's saying JJK is better is a horrendous take through n' through..
This Show has been not only great back then becoming One of The Big 3 but as well as now... within current time's still is great standing the test of time and growing better and better throughout the year's with quality animation and scene's.. The show standing tall for many year's and competing with other's and has now been passed the torch from Akira himself is truly a feat.. that shouldn't be over looked..
With pacing and specials aside this Anime has near perfect (since nothing is perfect) world building, character development, power scaling, mysterious aspect, loveable side characters to important figures, fights etc... N' Oda is a great writer no matter how many people try to downplay him, I truly believe other than AOT this story is beautifully made and will stand the test of time as something truly great for New Gen to pick up on and understand how to write better or more intriguing Show's.. (Nothing wrong with a all fighting show but make sure there's something behind it to make it have more impact than just fists...)
To each their own on what they deem Greatest Of All Time and you should all enjoy which ever you rightly chose. For me and for the fans of One Piece who may feel similar to me.. I love One Piece and personally this is my Greatest Of All Time.. Glad to say Ima Straw Hat Member (kinda sound corny but I'll stand on it).. One Piece changes life's..
I don’t blame the people who hate on one piece I mean it ain’t that great of an anime I’ve seen better don’t get me wrong one piece does possess a really appealing cast well if were talking about me that itself is a long story cause I gotta be truthful thier are lots of characters I don’t like especially luffy personally I find his character corny along with sanji and chopper along with brook and most of the side cast I don’t like it be a really long story to say who I like and don’t like from the anime I used to watch one piece but the story got to long for my taste and also just couldn’t watch luffy’s corny character no more it just became to much if he was more like the netflix counterpart I probably would still be watching it today plus they just took to long to get to the fun stuff I couldn’t wait anymore it was to time consuming for me so I decided to get into other things that get to the point faster then this also when did akira pass the torch? I never heard that did he really do that?

You bout’ dumb asf since Episode 1 it’s been fun and continues to 1 up itself every single arc.. You got adventures, you got islands being saved from enslavement and corruption, you got mystery and great character development as well as world building.. The animation continues to blow other Animes out the water from when it started, even until now and was crowned 1 of The Big 3…
All that hate about One Piece and the only issue there is would be lengthy episodes that scare away regular watcher’s or people with a lack of attention and patience such as yourself.. The pacing can be slowed or faster on certain scene’s, that’s all Toei Animation either trying to add more depth as well as trying not to cram another chapter inside a Ep.. Hence filler’s and special’s so they don’t reach Manga.. N’ if One Piece is to hard to watch just read the Manga or wait for The Remake..
Or continue to cry about One Piece as if they need one person who can’t grasp nor understand what One Piece has to offer.. To each their own if you choose to watch another show with all due respect but you ain’t finna be in the comment’s downplaying One Piece, while only going in it for certain people and disliking the mass.. Just watch something else that you can comprehend which you’ve clearly stated since you have no patience..

Yeah, Naruto is great in it’s own right but saying that the first 100 Episode’s was abysmal is complete utter nonsense of a take.
Your lack of patience and constant comparisons are the reason you people downplay certain show’s which is completely childish tbh. From Ep.1 - 100 is up to early 1999 to 2001 and even during the time of The Big 3 it was still competing with Naruto and Bleach and was still doing great with number’s and fan’s.
All it is, is personal taste to which Anime you deem great but underhanding it and saying Naruto did better when the Creator himself told Oda that he couldn’t compete with One Piece and ended up as friends who did light competition bc the Story of Naruto as well as character building wasn’t as good as OP.
Oda love’s the way Naruto character are made while Naruto’s creator love’s the One Piece color Palette.. They’re great friends.. Just sucks they got ppl like you watching said show’s.
To each their own but stop watching One Piece related shi if you finna downplay it and compare it to something that isn’t close to One Piece greatness. They’re great for what they both bring to the table and both are Big 3.
