why are you using the 16097-0011 oil filter rather than the 0008 oil filter? this 0011 is designed for gen5 and newer ZX10. Have you found any benefit that makes you switch the filter to this one?
is this upgrade ok for street use and racing use? i plan on also using this bike for long 700miles touring within a day. What im worried about is the oil not getting warm enough and not working optimaly when used for causual street use
Beautiful engineering. Since this part is great for track purposes for sustained higher operating temps; would you be releasing a version with a t-stat for street setup?occasional track?
@@dragonmaster7410 Requires adding an additional 215 cc's of oil to your motorcycle. We recommend following the same procedure as stock. Warm up your motorcycle with the the additional oil added to the OEM suggested amount. Then use the oil window to top off. This is the optimal race setup.

Well done Chuck.
Very nice product. It looks well designed, durable, and sexy. Wonder if this is available for a ZX-6R?
thanks for the video

What weight oil are you using?

What about on ZX4RR on track that doesn't utilize the under belly fairings?
That would be a track day only bike. For a proper race bike you will need the lower belly pan to catch any oil and or fluids.
It's an improvement no matter what.
Hey Chuck and graves team. You mentioned in the video that it increases oil capacity. So on a oil change instead of 2.7qts how much oil is needed?
