Still don't understand how this song wasn't one of the most popular in 2022. It's a crime that iKON's songs are so underrated. They have an amazing discography.
I think only a few like retro kind of music. Only few of us are versatile. As an iKONIC, I learn to appreciate different genre because iKON is so diverse with their music they released❤
Now this is what I call fresh, this is why iKON is still one of the few groups that I still follow to this day.. They always find a way to create their own sound signature and doesn't tend to sound generic. Songs like this are such a breath of fresh air, they don't tend to overexaggerate their beat drops and always makes sure that they don't lose the core sound of the song and with a simple but easy to follow choreography that doesn't always need to be too tappy or too flashy is a win-win for me.
this, many people deny that they can still have good music without their leader. Maybe the genre is a little different but iKON is iKON. They too good in everything.
This song is really very good, watch it many more times and if you are iKONIC then try to stream until the MV reaches 10 million views and more. Let's move forward together, all efforts will lead to success public, whenever you have free time watch it. because maybe this will be the last time iKON cooperates with YG, anyway, do your best for iKON so that in the future you can be confident that you are iKONIC!!!
just came here to say this is still iKON's best title track to this day, no two ways about it, i don't think anything's ever gonna top this one for me, the girlies who get the vision get it, and the girlies who don't need to acquire some taste because this is a literal Masterpiece!!!
"But You" and Flashback in general deserves more credit and love. I look forward to the day when they perform their full musical rotation. Seeing them in person in Chicago was wild and amazing. Post military enlistment, they should completely rearrange their sets for both concerts and festivals. For concert, I would love to see them structure their performance like one big story, with each chapter a song pulled from across their discography. Right now, I think they focus too much on performing only their commercial hits. They have too many emotionally damaging but lovely B-sides not to perform them more often. Not to mention a lot of high energy sleeper bops. Hello, "Ah Yeah," "Rum Pum Pum," anyone? "Dragon" from Flashback would be the new opener. Also, the lyrics essentially were a promise of iKON's reemergence. iKON has been everywhere, physically touring but also working across various media. Also, maybe I am just nuts but....lyrically I feel like Flashback's "Name" actually is a companion to "Panorama." Like Name is told in reflection of a relationship ending, and Panorama is literally med res, or the break up point captured as it happens. I do not know, I just am a lyric person and when I see lyrically iKON's work...its like constantly falking in love with them again.
iKON SO FREAKING TALENTED. They suits with every genre. Our Varstile Boys, iKON. They deserve better. Let's support them as the best we can do. Thank you for everyone who still support them until now. Fightingggggg, iKONIC.
