Usually cool browns will have names like Taupe, Mushroom, Cocoa, Mocha, Bark, Driftwood, Rose Beige, Latte, Espresso, etc. Coffee is a pretty neutral dark brown I think. Warm browns will be: Toffee, Tobacco, Cognac, Caramel, Honey, Camel (but be careful some camel is actually taupe) Wheat, Topaz, Clay, Ginger, Spice, Cinnamon, Butterscotch, Bronze. Olive brown can a warm neutral or cool/soft depending on how grey it is.
That's a lot to remember so I've screenshot your comment. Thank you! Have you heard of "eyebrow blindness?" I have "color blindness" when it comes to undertones! It's amazing to me how anyone can just look at something/someone and tell you the undertone; I have a true illness, I tell you!💔😂
The fashion industry tries to sell us beige trenchcoats as an ultimative classic piece, but a winter just looks pale in it. My trench jackets are dark blue and magenta. As for brown, I choose "taupe" and "espresso".
@nabilarahim5911 Walmart has a trench this fall and they offered it in black as well as the buff color you described. As a warm (warm spring specifically) I picked up the buff. They were actually fantastic for the price as they are well made and fully lined.
As a cool olive, cool bronzers look pink on me, warm bronzers look orange, neutral bronzers look okay. I would love a bronzer with a cool green undertone.
Who knew that the phrase ‘competing features’ would be the clue that so many of us needed. I was looking for a gray top while at Cato’s, but the only thing they had was this odd one with a gray bodice and contrasting warm toned print sleeves. Reluctantly I tried it on and was amazed that it looked custom made for me.
Hi ladies taupe is my friend and a great “neutral” eyeshadow colour on me. Darker taupe is often called mushroom and that’s a great shade for shoes and handbags that co ordinates with many of my clothes (I am a cool Summer). My hair is a light taupe really as an ashy blonde so it is a really good choice for me. Bitter chocolate is a little more of a contrast but it’s still a colour I can wear as an accent only eg shoes and handbags. Grey and navy however tend to be my go to shades for shoes and handbags. Being realistic the soft muted shades that are the most flattering are not practical for shoes as they get incredibly dirty very easily. They’re also difficult to find most of the time. Best wishes x
I am similar in coloring to you Sarah. I have ginger hair that is obviously warm but im pretty sure my skin tone is neutral. I might try the bronzing drops idea.
Please talk about levels of hair too sometime. People do NOT understand brown from black. Like, at all!! lol. My hair is about a level 4! People just think it's like a level 1 blue black and it's very much dark brown. Just something I've noticed that's kind of a bit annoying.
This channel has made me look at my closet so differently. I found out I’m a winter, all though I struggle with what kind of winter I know brown is not my color. My closet used to have lots of warm brown, I donated all of it. I’m trying navy now ❤
Please make this into a series with different colors! One color I struggle with is beige. I have warm undertones, so one would think wearing beige would be my thing, but easier said than done. It's really a struggle finding the right type of beige 🤷♀️
The issue with "bronzers" brings up an interesting question for me in terms of self tanners. Do they just bring out your natural undertones of cool or warm? Or do they lean towards the warmer side? Does anyone have their own experiences to share, please? I used self tanner years ago and I turned orange! Has the technology gotten better? Can you recommend something for cool tones? Thank you!! ❤
I’ve been having trouble figuring out my season since I’ve gotten analysis’ done telling me I’m either Soft Autumn or Warm/True Spring, considering my natural hair color is a dark Mousy brown with some golden highlights I am slowly itching towards Soft Autumn 🍂 thanks guys.
I have cool olive skin tone but my eyes are a warm deep brown. I am looking for a brunette color. Would I go ash to flatter my skin or would I go with a warm brown to harmonize with my eyes....thank you! Love your channel
As a bright spring browns are so confusing to me. Springs are mostly supposed to wear warm browns but when I look at bright spring palettes the browns always lean more towards taupes and chocolate brown which are cooler or sometimes neutral. Super warm browns or camels look kind of off on me unless adjust for them because my skin is neutral-warm.
I was a bear and had an around me warm brown. 😂 And, I made a little behind a white wall. It made me all green, it looked like I had my skin painted in green color. 😂
I thought that being a winter, dark brown, chocolate brown were prohibit. But,in your cool browns, which by the way I will call them taupe colores, I could wear that very dark brown with my dark Brown hair, hazelnet/brown eyes, and light cool yelllow face. Is this right?
If you look at the brown palettes with a metallic strip at the top 9:36, you'll notice that the warms aren't just warmer--they're brighter, and the cools aren't just cooler--they're more muted. As a bright winter, I struggle with cool browns because they really aren't bright enough for me--I look washed out and sickly. Any suggestions?
Can make blue eyes pop. I'm a neutral soft summer with green-blue sage eyes, the best eyeshadow for me is a cool fuschia on the outside and gold on the inside. Sunset colours. Really highlights my eyes. I look great when I pair soft cools with soft warms. If you are very cool with blue eyes though and want your eyes to pop, even just adding a subtle warmth may be enough, as it will look extra warm on you. Essentially if you want a color to pop, you go the opposite side of the colour wheel. Just don't go using a super bright warm red, as that won't look good 😂 It's all in the subtle tones and shades. You just need to find out what level of warmth you can get away with.
@@jemmavonhoff1548 Thanks warm colors do make my eyes pop. I have cool hair skin and eyes. Warm shadows don't go with my wardrobe. I'M 66 now and did color analysis back in the day. My skin has always tanned very dark. I should be redone now see what new eyes see.

When are you doing the 16 seasons? I feel like we've been waiting forever 😟
I am looking forward to the 16 season as well ~ to determine if I am a soft winter.
Stone Cold Fox eyeshadow palette from colourpop has wonderful cool tone browns.
Ohh thank you, I’ll look for it.
I am a warm dominant spring and don't use bronzer, contour, or self-tanner. Even on my very warm skin it doesn't look natural.
I have warm green blue eyes. I’m an Autumn. I find that a dark plum brown eyeshadow really compliments my eye color.
My hair color is a medium copper red color.
Can you tell me that brand eyeshadow for plum brown color?
Sometimes cool browns look almost purpleish

In my hair color line, the “chocolate” series is your warm brown. Another line, Mocha is a violet type brown.
I'm a summer... have a wool dress and suit in cool rose brown.... I love them muchly
I love your channel. As you talk about these colors, I’d love to see a picture to correspond with what you’re discussing.

I just don't see cool/neutral features on Sarah. To me she looks totally warm.

I was the same ! …got rid of all my creams browns camels …….etc now my basics are Navy black and a new colour I never used greys / charcoal
@@MillieonaVespa Awesome! I’m thinking about including charcoal too! Also Charcoal eyeliner.
Navy. 😊
Thank you for speaking about the importance of hair color cause since I’ve stopped coloring my hair everything has changed.

Cool brown - it's like a transitional color between summer greys and autumn warm browns.
ty for this video!

Warm brown is my favorite. Even my pajama is warm brown 😁
Brown….YUKKKKK for me ❤

I feel like there are browns more neutral that work for both. Is that true?
You gotta check out Rituel De Fille for contour - they have a crème that’s literally gray taupe that’s been a game changer as a summer
I am embarrassed to say that until I was 60 years old I thought I had brown (warm) eyes when in fact they are a deep olive green.
I really think you need regular people examples when you guys are doing a video like this
Could you plz make video about color combination how to combine a dark colors mix with lighter colors and take havynies a way from the outfit

Would coffee brown be considered cool?
I have zero brown in my wardrobe. lol. 😝

Sis Athena likes chocolate brown. I have no brown myself.
Black brown be considered cool
I wish you would use actual individuals in your videos. Also. I feel you talk too much about yourselves and most people cannot relate.
