Want the line art, supply list, and tips for "Heart Lollies"? Every video has a dedicated resource page! www.vanillaarts.com/blog/resource-heart-lollies
So you like this video better than last week's with music only? th-cam.com/video/YL1t23E5eYo/w-d-xo.html Just asking because it's often hard to tell if it's the topic, the video style, or the project itself which interests or repels people.
@@AmyShulke Yes I did. Truthfully, I didn't even watch last week's until the end. I sometimes use videos like that as a background for my own coloring, but I wasn't doing anything at the time. You are a wonderful artist Amy and I love what you do, but it's your knowledge and the way you impart that knowledge that interests me. Please don't be offended. I appreciate anything that you do, but I really look forward to hearing your views and learning how colors work. I am not an artist. I don't want to become an artist. I am a colorist (at best) and am only interested in improving my "craft". You have taught me valuable lessons on how to color, and I thank you for that.
Yep. Over the years, I figure things out faster but there's never a point where I know exactly what to do from start to finish. It's always an experiment and there's always a strong chance of making the wrong decision.
This is so awesome! I ended up following along, posted it on insta, and then realized that your last post on insta is like 4 years old… anyways thanks for the amazing video!
Hello I recently discovered your channel and have learned a lot from it. I look at markers differently now. Also your art is amazing and I love how much it pops off the page. Jesus Loves you and Good day :)
Colored pencils vary by several factors, one of the most important is transparency/opacity. Physical color is the least interesting thing about a pencil.
This was great! And especially as you do not take us by the hand with EVERY stroke, we need to figure out some things ourselves! Great way of trial and error! Already have this great stamp; Valentine, bring it on! (So enough time to perfect it😂)
LOL, my timing in past years has been sooo bad. By the time I usually get to Christmas, everyone's done with their holiday coloring. In 2024, I started early on Halloween and worked on Christmas in November. Now let's see how long I can stay ahead of the seasonal game here in 2025. Cross your fingers for me!!!

Very fun. I like hearing how you are figuring out what you want.

@@MissChelle I’m glad you like it. It wasn’t as easy as last week’s but still faster to make than the usual deep dives. Thanks for letting me know!!!

I left Instagram as a way to cut back on social media. I'm much happier without it.
@ that’s really smart of you!! Social media is terrible 99% of the time
I love your videos - 🎶lollipop, lollipop, la-la-la-la-la-la lollipop!🎶 😅
Thank you. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the rights to that song but it went through my mind the whole time!

Thank you very much.
😮 What do you mean with transparency of the colored pencils? Aren't all of the opaque? It's the first time I heard of it! 😮
