Last month, I took a little staycation at the Chateau Elan Winery & Resort and n Braselton, GA. I was able to relax and have some much needed me time. 🙌🏾

You should've tried the spa & there is another resturant there overlooking the vineyard. It is divine!
I wanted to do the spa so bad but I didn’t want to spend the money 😂. I didn’t know about the other restaurant so I will have to try it out next time! Thanks love ❤️

Thanks this was great! I’m from NY but one of my good friends moved to Smyrna so I will definitely share this video with her. Good for you for taking the time to book something and have some alone time and enjoy it. I’m a grits gal, my father was born in the south so he made sure I was raised on grits with cheese, salt and butter. He passed away this April but I remember we went to a diner and we had grits discussion and eggs and ketchup lol he hated to see that lol!

Unless, my Mom makes it, of course!😉
She'll use the cheese, that doesn't upset my lactose-intolerance.
Basically: Mozzarella, Parmesan, Feta, White Cheddar, Muenster, Pepper Jack, mixed Mexican cheese blends &/or Italian cheese blends, etc.

I'm in GA too and I've always heard about Chateau Elan but I've never been. Those tea time snacks looked good and I like sweet and salty grits lol.
Hey Khristian! Sorry for the late reply. Def hit up Chateau for like a girls day or a day with bae. Really fun. And the tea snacks were surprisingly good for the most part. There were some questionable foods there 😂.

I'm a North Carolinian and love me some grits. In my pre vegan days (the bulk of my life), I ate them with butter and salt and sometimes cheese. These days, plant based margarine substitutes for the butter and nutritional yeast subs for the cheese. On occasion, I'll use one of the plant based cheeses but actually prefer the taste with the nutritional yeast.
