      @@SoFloJeeping would it be easier if the tires were off the ground? I've seen people adjust it with it in the air and others on the ground.

    If you take the tires off and clamp the levels to the face of the disc brakes (pad contact area) u can get toe perfect

      But he will have to remove the calipers

    Which way do we turn the dial to toe in?

      Can't remember off the top of my head but it should be pretty visible once you start turning it

    Which way do you turn the adjustment sleeve to pull the front side of the tires in? Is it reverse threads and putting a wrench on it and pulling “down” pulling the front side of the tires together?

    Thank you so much for this. Alignment went off when hubby hit a bear. I've been tasked with finding the easiest and cheapest way to fix it. Now i just gotta wait til he gets home from work tonight.

    You weren't worried about deviance in the tires? I heard 'perfectly' and was slightly concerned. I'm in no means a pro, in fact I have the JK up on stands with wheels/calipers off at this very moment. I think your level advice is solid no matter the method. Better than $200+ for custom toe jigs/brackets...

      I should have worded it better. It's impossible for it to be perfect but I'd say it's pretty close. Coming up on 35k on these tires only doing driveway alignments and they still have tread

      @@SoFloJeeping I put it all back together and tossed the big levels and bungie's on and read 80" give or take a 16th on either side but did it in the air... Couldn't justify adjusting anything but I have a right pull on the freeway with ball joints and wheel bearings still feeling firm 🤷🏻‍♂️ confused. Just under 70k with a new track bar and drag link flip as well.

    Do you have adjusting balljoints for your camber?

    • @SoFloJeeping
      @SoFloJeeping  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It the time of the vid I had stock ball joints. Later on I went with teraflex ball joints but its more of a preload adjustment on those than a camber adjustment. Basically keeps them at 0 camber
