I love Project Home DIY! They let you skip a month if you want. That’s a really important feature for a monthly box. Also, they give you the option to see the project before you commit to it.
People definitely wear powder. Im 56 and I love cream and liquid blushes. They are stunning. Put it on over foundation, under powder. You can top it with powder blush to set it or whatever finishing powder you use. I haven't used that brand but Rare Beauty are nice and Danessa Myricks Yummy Blushes are GORGEOUS cream to powder. I use a brush to add color and a beauty blender to blend. If you're too heavy handed simply go over it with your foundation brush/blender to tone it down.
I only use dove bar soap. I used it when I was a kid and grew up with it. I tried other things when I moved out and went back to my dove. I love the original OG bar
Fun video! I'm a sucker for kitchen gadgets, so Special Delivery is tempting. I like the customization on Box of Books, but not all the little extras. I think a $49.99 sticker price with only books would be better. I cook with bacon grease all the time. I wish my ceramic container had a strainer. I retired last year after 40 years in corporate America. I always had to work extra before and after vacations 'cuz nobody did the work while I was out. After that many years, it caused massive burn-out. I strongly encourage you to take your time off and don't punish yourself with a 60 hour week.

When I steam veg, I just pop a colander full over a pot of boiling water. A sealed container is probably more energy efficient, but a pot lid works well.

My vote would be to go take that sabbatical time off and enjoy your time off. You’ve earned it, sweet lady. Life is short. Enjoy those times you have with your kids while they’re young. At the end of our lives are we going to ponder “Darn. I should have worked that extra time!” Or “Wow! I am so blessed to have slowed down and to have made those great memories with the family!” ❤❤❤
You put the steamer in a pan and then you put the lid on it, just like those metal steamers that look like flowers that expand

I use bar soap when camping and I like to have handmade bar soap for the guest bathroom because it always smells divine.
I think the bar soap comeback is because of recycling. Most of the containers will not be recycled even if the # says it can. I use both.
I use both bars and liquids shower body wash

I have a bacon grease holder on my counter. Its just a gun metal color. My husband uses it more then me

The gel polish intrigues me. Does this gel polish thin your nails after a few applications? My nails got so thin and unhealthy from salon gel.
