Great upcycles! ❤ Can understand people like the leaded panes, but why so harsh? Sarah may not know she could have kept them. Or she may worry a child or pet could get sick from them. The transformation was fun and well done. TFS ❤❤😊😊
Ok - I read other comments about the bookcase - and now I shall say this... Why would anyone de-bowel and butcher an antique oak cabinet to daub its otherwise beautiful timbers with such obscene and obnoxious a covering. Sarah's understanding of glamour is my definition of something else beginning with "g". Bruce's work was most exquisitely excellent and I love Jackie's commitment to being true to the original item.
Sarah "Artist Designer" ruined the Leaded BookCase as she did not have the competence to carry out the upcycle. Further more the gentrified Hobbyist are given priority appearences on the programme with over inflated prices. BTW residents should be aware the Recycle Centres have sections where they store recycled items & paint You can email and request visits. You don't need "special permission" as that annoying old voice over states repeatedly. The Swedish Elders are lovely ❤❤❤🎉
I find it hard to believe that the glass had to be removed because of the leaded glass. If that was true, then no stained glass units could be created and sold.
I especially loved the 1st and 2nd items. The glam cabinet just isn't my style, but believe me, there is a market out there for glam. With all the comments that leaded items are legal to sell as antiques, I'm wondering if that only applies if it is left as original and not refurbished (other than redoing the protective surface). I also was sad to see the leaded glass go, but if you have ever tried to sell antiques, they don't exactly fly off the shelf. My generation that tended to buy antiques are busy doing a big purge for our late 70s and 80s lifestyle.
I would have taken the bookcase home as is right to my living room. My home is a mission bungalow…perfect. And then she turned it into an hideous cocktail cupboard.
Awesomeness 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 Really enjoyed and learned watching the beautiful video. Moreover, I have subscribed to your lovely channel With love from SAM Guwahati, Assam, India 🇮🇳 ♥️
I hate to see the leaded glass removed! Why would you ruin a beautiful piece of furniture😢
Absolutely love this show! What an inspiration.
Wonderful work of Bruce. I love it!!!
I love the finished tool box 24:47
Had no idea leaded glass had gone way of lots of old, lovely items, as that was the loveliest part of the cabinet!

Bruce had great inspiration with that huge dresser!

To Jackie what a cleaver lady you are the beautiful things you do a very lovely lady ❤❤
I'm always a bit nervous about her plans, but then I'm flabbergasted at all her projects! And I love her laugh!
that poor book case. tragic. what a mess.
And if the lead was a safety hazard, what did Sarah do about disposing of it? And wouldn't it have been rejected at the dumping station?
The glamazon lady always makes a dogs dinner of her work.
Perhaps she sold them 😂@@alanatolstad4824
They were all good

She ruined it. You do not have to remove old leaded glass. What a hack!
obviously you are jealous of the woman's
skill and imagination shame on you
@@anns.2621 she destroyed a beautiful peice and turned it into trash.
@@anns.2621 Why being jealous of someone who claims to be a "glamorous"upcycler but can't deal with antiques?
That book case is completely hideous. What a shame.
isnt' it heartbreaking.
Trash back 2 trash
Jackie is quite the designer plus I believe she gets the most money from the upsell love the sideboard wow❤
the big wooden desk is beautiful now

Exactly!
I did just a bit of research & learned that leaded furniture is allowed for resale in the UK. It's a shame she has so many of us up in arms.
@@alanatolstad4824 Yes ! it's indeed not used anymore but for antiques it's allowed everywhere in Europe! She just could'nt deal with it!
So sad about the leaded windows...that was the most beautiful part..😢😢😢😢😢

What if you really hate the transformation these craftsmen do for you? Do you fib and say “how wonderful” lolol
I wasn't sure Jacqui was completely sincere.

Paused on the gorgeous bookcase. Am dreading the monstrosity they will create.....
Actually stopped watching after hearing the leaded windows were going....what a shame😢
Loved the bookcase great work
She must surely have a notion of what sells in her area!
£600!?! Wow this guy is always charging over the top. And £500 for that little cabinet? Seriously? Can you say gouging boys and girls.
It's alot of work, time, supplies and skill!
Money for crap shows 💩
what is wrong with all of you . I'll bet you couldn't remake anything.
