This is also among my favorite. It touches every cell in my body. Having this as your favorite performance by Dimash, I am certain that you will love Daybreak as well. It is based on a true story and I recommend that you start with the background story, which is from the Singer show, on Gloria Wu's channel and then move on to his performance at the Bastau concert. It is spectacular. Or, the best you can do, is to react to both of them.
He definitely gave it his all!! And I think it's a bit easier to get into the song when it's in your own language too. Take a look at Samaltau (Tokyo Jazz Festival. Here you will also hear the amazing Kobyz being played), Qaragym Ai (Digital Concert. You will need to check out the back story for this one or at least get a version with English subtitles) and Ikanaide (Tokyo Jazz Festival. Having the back story is good for this one also but otherwise you at least need to know that the Ikanaide means "Don't go" or "Don't leave"). They are also great for beautiful and emotional performances.
