Just incredible man! I can't even do a portrait with pencil and paper that good! You know I may never be as good as this or yourself Chris but I still use it to inspire myself and to build on my own style. Thank you for another awesome video and as always much RESPECT and God bless bro.
His gradients are so clean... crisp and soft where needed. His use of contrast is very convincing. When you say mag work, do you mean a flat mag? I also wonder if he uses any water wash lines for certain distinct features like eyes or hair... portraits have never been my strong suit but I would love to remedy that some day...
Incredible details, BUT how will the tattoos look after 5 years of skin ageing and and sunlight? These Tattoos are only done for the photo and the first few weeks after tattooing.
Think of a round shader as a dull pencil. It will create soft lines if used correctly . Practice drawing use pencils .. micron pens.. you will find alot of similarities with tattoo needles
It’s very good don’t get me wrong but it don’t look like this in real life, a lot of top artist plus artists filer there tattoos to make it look more saturated, darker and smoother.
I have two appointments with him coming up. So excited!!
how was he. do u recommend? hugo feist?

on round shader is harder to find point of skin so probaly its low voltage RL with soft push machine.

O already ser tattoos like that after 7 years and they are really good, its about technic, not tattoo style
What an artist his blends are insane, hope your good brother
how long such minute and soft details stays , hope all of them are on second layer
Brother, amazing content. Straight away, from first minutes you are the best tattoo related channel on YT.
You should break down his tones and how/where he uses them. That would be so helpful
Figure it out on paper with pencils. Full saturation it will be easier to understand if you practice it yourself . That's the best way
Does ne1 know what machine he uses?????
Larf is so good artist,so clean tattoos
There’s alot of smooth filtering aswell….
Would you say round shaders are a lot better than round liners you know for hair fur details ?
They can be yes

no wonder he's one of david vega's biggest inspiration
True that
From an illustrators perspective, you can tell he has his drawing fundamentals down to a T
The cheddar??
Something to aim for hey 😵💫👌🏻
For sure

I’ve seen Ralfs work in person..trust me when I say this is the standard he puts out
@@ChrisRavage that’s cool man, I’m not slaying he’s work one bit lol he’s a mother f..king G lol but I know a lot of tattooist filter their work lol
@@calvinblack2167 100% bro, filtered work is the biggest pandemic in the industry and it won’t get better tbh
@@ChrisRavage yeh man it’s a shame… great channel btw man :)
Some of his work are done in 2 sessions , the second after healing the first, blending cannot go forever in tattoo, the skin does not take it.
His technique is awesome but I don’t like portraits. I personally would rather a piece of art not a picture.
