Ed Piskor is a gem. His commentary has me dying in almost every video.

I'm always down for Master Frazetta's works, there is always something new to see and learn. I need more of his art books in my life. Like always thanks for the excellent share. Y'all rock!

Thank you, guys! Frazetta is my favorite artist. Next to him, I like Frederic Remington!

Visited the Frank Frazetta museum back in 2019 Feb loved, it, had a few hours to talk to the son and Grandson, and bought like souvenirs from the store, wow, very impressed by the Musueum also loved the large pond back of the musuem , Frazetta used to wish there, the grandson told me a massive bass or carp still lives in the pond , its the museums mascot haha

If you're on that East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania pilgrimage to the Frazetta museum, make sure to take a side trip to his son Bill's costume/halloween shop in downtown. My wife and I found it at random when we moved to PA, and Bill was super friendly. Wanted to give us the inside scoop on antiquing/flea markets in the area. Nice dude and cool spot!

also highly recomended is the Frank Frazetta docu painting with fire that is an extra in the Fire and Ice Blu underground DVD SE two disc set. but not on the single disc blu ray.

That figure looking off into the distance (7:32) was definitely cribbed for the He-man mini comics and I’d dare say by Jim Lee for that batman and Superman standing on gargoyle matching covers

I purchased this book when it was released. Loved the artwork of course, but also came away with a sense of a life very well lived and loved. His passing hit me hard and I appreciate this book’s photos for providing a better sense of the man behind the art.

massive frazetta fan after I first got exposed to his work in 1977 from all those excellent creepy and eerie covers and adverts at the back of teh magazine. then I bought a few of the ballantine Frazetta books, then in the early 90s bought the Frank Frazetta trading cards when they first came out. Also those Ace Conan mid 80s editions with the Frazetta, Vallejo covers, classic. Yep, Im also a massive fan of Fire and Ice and Bakshi. who is a close friend of Frazetta.

Jack Kirby said divine figures are self evident and Mr Frazetta is certainly something fucking else man so fucking powerful. Glad my eyes can gawk and soak in what we can all appreciate from the dimension of emotion

Frazetta's main hobby is not art but photography. He also has a massive collection of cameras.

Visited the Frazetta Museum while at the Kubert joint. (as everyone prob did) Frank was busy at the time, so his wife took us through the place and gave us info on some of the pieces. Some dude mentioned Boris.....and Frazetta's wife stopped the line, and told that kid NOT to mention that name in these halls. The kid took his humiliation and we continued on. lol

I also prefer masonite to canvas. The paint just comes off the brush easier you really have to work to fill the canvas texture

Got my copy from the museum and the daughter in law warned me about opening it flat. The binding from that self publication was not that great. They still had plenty of copies.

I feel like so much of Greg Capullo's style comes from those LOTR drawings....shame that his closest thing to a high fantasy book, Reborn, is kinda weak overall
