Tarsha Guriras and Mbitjiua Tjitjeru began their project by regularly visiting an orphanage seven kilometers from their school in a desert area of Namibia. At the orphanage, they did a number of activities with the orphans including playing, singing, helping the orphans with their homework and with learning German. As their project progressed, they enlisted other students to visit the orphanage with them. The orphans and orphanage staff members hope that the project will continue because the children are so rarely visited.
