I'm doing winter wonderland this year with pops of red cardinals. It's a tribute to my mom who loved cardinals. She's been gone 25 years ago this year. We actually have a tree that is dedicated to the ornaments she had on our trees growing up. The old glass ones from the 50's and 60's. That is in the front window. The cardinal tree will be by the fireplace. Love your channel. I have been waiting for someone to do a winter wonderland theme. Thanks

Hi Rebecca, It was so enjoyable to watch a Christmas video of your's this Friday evening after a very long week at work. My favorite for this video was your pumpkins turned snowman. I absolutely love him and I have collected snowmen for about 25 years and my sister started collecting them, my sis in law and even my mom. If he was outside I would put a hat on him but, inside he is perfect the way he is. Before my prom, a fashion designer came in to meet with all of us girls to find out what our colors were. I came up as a winter person because I have always loved blue tones. I have aleats liked the midnight blue with a glittery tone such as my buick regal had. I started liking turquoise about 4 years ago when my oldest nephew wore a lot of it. He is an art major. I have always wanted a silver and blue tree but this Christmas will be my last one on my mother's house so I will keep it traditional with homemade ornaments and many are the orig Merry Brights from the 60s. It's hard to believe I have only missed being with my mom for one Christmas since I was born and that was 1987 and now this year will be the 2nd. Last year for a surprise when she came home I decorated her mantle in a new way and she loved it. So this year I will do the same. I am itching to add a mantle swag of some kind but have not had a DYI in mind yet. I will have too find ideas on TH-cam. I hope your family is well. I love your house all year long but I bet Christmas it is really spectacular! I loved how you styled the star. I only saw pumpkins when I bought those. I LOVE snowmen and this is the greatest one ever!!! So creative. Love the sled as well...all are great! I want to do more of my snowman theme and blues and snowflakes. But, I also have a family tree and beach tree decor lol. Maybe different themes in each room haha!! Gingerbread & gnomes are calling me too lol. Doing stuff for work too.
Your snowman is simply adorable what a smart way to use items that are already in our craft supplies. I've already gone into my stash and going to make one asap⛄ Keep those beautiful crafts coming you have wonderful and inventive ideas.
I find that if you lightly sand those plastic or metal stars, they take paint better. You could also spray paint them white and then you’ve got your base for whatever you want to do with them
Hi I love your channel. For me I think of what it looks like after it's snowed. I see bits of brown, grey, green, white, some red, and of course some blue from the crisp air out. Then I think of what ice really looks like and I see, silver and shiny glitter. I try to bring all of it together and make a warm but glittering world. Go crazy and let your mind tell you what winter wonderland means to you and your family.
Yes, I have used pastel colors very effectively for winter wonderland. Feather type trees in pale pink, blue and white. Lots of angel wings, etc. Dried hydrangeas make lovely decorations also. Just don't overdo the pastels, lots of greenery and white , with natural wheat, etc.
Love winter wonderland decor!! I love silver, white, and blue for it!! But I've seen mint and blush colors used with it, as well. I love the idea of pastels at Christmas, too!! I have a tree in my living room that matches my decor in there...it is bronze, burgundy, sage, pearl, and gold for my ornaments. It really looks beautiful!! Love your ideas and the snowman and sled were awesome!! The gold bush inside the stone and gold vas was really fancy!! Such a statement piece!! Tyfs!!❄❄❄
I'm excited! When I do winter wonderland I do dark navy, silver and that iridescent stuff. But this year since it's my first Christmas single in a long time I BOUGHT A PINK CHRISTMAS TREE and I am not sure what's going on it but WHO CARES ITS PINK
all my christmas decorations , including tree is done in blues, silver , and white...even my tree is a blue spruce ... blue is my favorite color , so that is what i do , but if i make stuff in reds , golds, greens , etc i make it for other ppl !! i feel all other holidays have their colors, like valentines is pinks /reds , halloween is orange/purple /green fall is oranges/browns ... easter is pastels , so for me Christmas is in blues ... these crafts are so stinkin cute, but for me , i would have to put a hat on the snowman , as he looks naked to me .. lol but none the less hes adorable !!!

Been seeing a lot of blues and purples for the upcoming holidays. Really pretty center pieces with those 2 colors. Saw one where they did all blue and purple flowers on a long tray and nestled in some little white pumpkins throughout for thanksgiving. Really nice. I think im going with that this year. I like the sled u re-did with the blue bow.
Red white and silver because if you are outside in the winter there are red berry's on the bushes and they threw the trees the snow shimmers and the white on the trees and with animals
Omgoodness!! The snowman was just the cutest! The glitter body and glitter sprigs were perfect. Snowmen are my favorite Christmas figures for sure. And you embellished the sled so perfectly.
