- here is my review of the zhiyun crane 4, like all my reviews this is not sponsored nor paid. In fact I've had this for over a month now and didn't want to post anything until I had a solid result. Is it better than the DJI Ronin RS3 PRO?

Thanks for this video. I am a photographer in need of a gimbal with A7RV paired with Tamron 35-150mm heavy long but extremely versatile lens for run & gun event shooting & documentary. Would you recommend the RS3 Pro for the CF arm, auto-lock.... or the Crane 4 for the LED light, wrist support and sling arm? Thanks.

Hi! Great review! Hi I'm having a problem and I want to know if you know how can I fix it. Brand new Crane 4. Charged at home, once fully charged when I unplugged the USB-C the screen won't stop showing the battery icon, never turns off. Even when I power on the unit it shows like it's still charging.
Updated to the latest firmware and it does the same thing. Zhiyun support told me via Facebook that it could be a hardware problem with the unit so I got another unit from the retailer, same problem. Also the battery on my Crane 4 on screen appears white even after firmware update, not green with the percentage like yours.

Great review. I wonder how the Crane 4 compares the Crane 3S. It appears to be more compact with some strong motors.
Unfortunately I didn’t but the 3S. I feel like not necessary to upgrade every model but new models tends to be slight better as usual.

Just to correct. It isn’t softer light it is diffused light. Based on how close and in size the object of light is compared to the subject will determine if it is getting softer or harder.
Greetings from Turkey, my dear teacher, I have a weebill 3 gimbal, but vertical shooting is quite difficult and I generally use fujifilm 70 300, should I buy weebill 3s or crane 4?

One complaint/observation though! I don't understand why you include footage taken with IBIS on.
Obviously IBIS, or any other post stab system will disguise the shortcomings of any gimbal.
I imagine that most, if not all people watching this video are wanting to compare gimbals.
The comparison with the WB3S for example, showed very little, as both had IBIS on.
You did show some footage with IBIS off, so I was happy with that.

The weight of the Weebill 3S is 1647g (without the tripod), and the weight of the Crane 4 is 1672g (without the tripod).
Exactly what i wanted from the weebill 3 to be. Think this is gooing to be a good seller

no such thing as super smooth on any gimbal. its mostly body movement and a bit of post my friend. personally I would take the crane 4 for heavy setup and future proofing.
Would have been nice if you actually answered your own question. Is it better than DJI?

looks shaky, and it seems to be difficult do do orbit shots which has been my experience with older cranes aswell
